I guess this does not work in Linux (Fedora 16) and Firefox v10.0.1?
My computer has flash player plugins in /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/ and even if I uninstall it from there, this Flashlight plugin seem not to make anything or show anywhere else but in Tools/Add-ons list.
There seem not to be any Settings for Flashlight either anywhere?
Ok, found it and got it to the status bar (more space there).
I'd rather have it in the Tools-menu, because I do not expect to change the flash version so often. Now I have one different firefox user profile for v10.0.x.x, which saves every flash video to /tmp (and will be saved if I rename them before I close the web page which had the flash video), and for other firefox profiles I use the latest Adobe flash player available.
Seems I also got Gnash-player installed as one of the choises, good!
Btw, it is also possible to change flash player on the fly by not restarting the browser, at least in Linux. If I manually kill the process called "plugin-container", change the libflashplayer.so file in /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/ and reload or open some web page which has flash content, it is then using the changed one. Haven't tried if it works with Flashlight now.
(Edited after asked feature in v1.7.1 was added.)Thanks. Useful add-on. I plan to use it with custom bookmarklets, which now can (maybe) be applied on link or image we are hovering over.
Does not work with Finnish language. Finnish/Finland is shown as a selectable spell checking langauges in the Firefox (3.6.x) context menu, but Dictionary Switcher doesn't list it at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
Ilmoittaa ettei tue tätä ff 3.0.2 versiota? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.10.0).
I second the previous.
Please make this very usefull extension work also in Firefox3.
hmm...have to re-review, because when I tried again (disabled, restarted, enabled, restarted) the "List of Tabs"-tool became again visible and usable. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.2008062001).
It takes the "List of Tabs"-thing away, so although I liked the extension, I stoped using it because of that. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.2008062001).
