3 Major Problems Rated 1 out of 5 stars

1. The list of duplicates has 3 columns: (1) Title, (2) URL and (3) folder. The columns can't be moved, and their width cannot be adjusted. As a result, when one URL is long, the folder column cannot be seen. I scaled my 15" retina display to the max and still couldn't see it. I had to also move the window to the left and extend it so I could finally see the folder column. But then I could not see all 3 columns without moving the window left and right.

2. I tried to delete one bookmark only. I selected it, then pressed delete. That didn't work. I also right-clicked on it but no context menu showed up. So it appears to be impossible to delete one or a selection of dupes. It's either "delete all" or delete nothing.

3. Most "dupes finder" apps, if not all, show you both files so you can decide which one you want to keep, and which one you want to delete. Here, the extension makes that decision for you, so who knows if it's right or wrong?

It would not take much to make that extension extremely useful. But the way it is now, it's useless and dangerous. if you're not careful, one click on the "delete all" button can be a disaster.

Metal Watcher

It works, but doesn't do much Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It shows you the price of all 4 precious metals in the status bar every 5 minutes. Only available option is which metal you want to see.
Pros: works, is discreet
Cons: may be enough for some, not for me.

LastPass Password Manager

Very good extension, however... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is a good extension. No need to get into the details, someone has already written a book about how great it is in a comment below... I just want to share a pretty scary experience I had with it a few moments ago. If it happened to me, it might happen to someone else. The Help section was useless, and if there is a place to ask for support, I could not find it (-1 star).

Simply put, all my data was gone. That about 500 sites and a dozen notes. I've been using 32-char. passwords for the past two years, so needless to say I could not remember a single one of them. (-1 star)

I tried to export the data => got an empty page
I tried to log off and log back in => nothing
I checked my profile => all was in order
I opened Chrome, then lastpass, and hallelujah! All my data was back (in Chrome)
I quickly exported it and got a full backup in html/text format.

Now the weird stuff:
I switched back to Firefox, did not do anything, and 2 secondes later, all the data reappeared there too!
Then I came here to write this post. So I had to login, but all the data had disappeared again! So I'm writing this on Chrome.

So there. The data was saved, but the bug remains, in Firefox only (v. 36.0.1, on Mac OS X Mountain Lion)

Hope this helps.

Save Session

SESSION GONE, NO RESTORE BUTTON, SUPPORT SITE IS BS. NOW WHAT? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I start firefox and what do I get? An empty page "about:sessionrestore". The support site/official add-on developer site is a gallery of "nature" photos, with some text in an Asian language. I could not understand a word, but it was obviously not about a Firefox extension.
So:

1. Did not save anything
2. Did not restore anything
3. No "restore" button
4. No more "Ooops, this is embarrassing..." page from Firefox's built-in session restore function.
5. No support.

If you want to be sure you never lose your session, I would strongly suggest getting "session manager" instead, and/or Xmarks (for online backup).

App Button Remove

Great! Just some ideas... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works well. Add the "faviconize tabs" and the "Delete Add Tab button" extensions, use the "Compact Classic" theme and you'll be amazed how many tabs you can fit up there. My netbook's resolution is 1024x600 and I can fit about 30 tabs in one line!

Now the ideas...

For those of us who like to use our mouse rather than the keyboard, it might be a good idea to add the option of replacing the default "firefox" button with a much smaller one.

Now, the last obstacles to "ultimate tab space optimization" are the minimize, full screen, and exit button! Can these be removed too?

Thank you for this extension

PriceBlink - Automatic Price Comparison & Coupons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for such an excellent extension. It does in one second what used to take me hours: finding the best price for something I want to buy.

Questions and suggestions:

1. It would be nice if we could add stores to the list, and even nicer if these stores were then added to the extension's code (if that's where the list resides). BTW, if the list is in the source code, how hard would it be to add stores by editing the code?

2. I think the stores' rating should be indicated since it is an important factor when deciding where to buy something.

3. I also think prices should include taxes and/or shipping fees, if any. What I really want to know is the final price.

Great extension. It would be PERFECT if you could include ALL METALS, as Rob suggested (Copper, Nickel, Lead, Alum, Rhodium to name a few). Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. (aeginnsz att gmail dott come)
