Thanks for this version (0.96.4c), it works with Firefox 10.0.2. Hacks on the other version just didn't work anymore. Curious as to where the "jars" folder went in this new version though. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.96.4c).
Easy hack using 7-zip too, again changing the version to 8.0 in the rdf file. Glad to have this working again, it's a must-have add-on for me.This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Thanks for that link JBGO, I now have Screengrab working again in FF 8. Hope you or anyone maintains this excellent, very useful Addon.
Thanks tonny77montana, YOUR version works perfectly with FF6!This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Doing DinosPwn's edit below works, but also if you use Google as your homepage and want that new tab to focus on the search box instead of in the address bar, start with the hacked version of newTabHome, then do the edit.
I'll give this addon a try. Don't like that FF4 got rid of the New Tab button for the toolbar. I know that you can move the one from the tab bar to the toolbar, but then you still just have one. And if you create a 2nd new tab button, it doesn't work with New Tab Homepage. And double-clicking on a blank space restores instead of opening a new tab, and I don't like middle-clicking to open a new tab. Long story short (too late!), this Big New Tab Button 2 works well, gives me a loooong area to click on, and looks good because it just fills the extra space on the tab bar, which I always have showing anyways. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2).
My first impression of this add-on is that it works faster than the other well-known one. My computer is already fast so I tried it on an old Pentium 3 600Mhz computer and sport sites that used to stutter when you scrolled are now much smoother. Have to give it 5 stars for that major improvement alone. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.3).
