This is an incredible addon in the fight for privacy on the internet! Thank you so much for creating this addon. REQUEST: Would it be possible, in future releases, to add the ability to import and export my whitelist? (@SHER as a former RoboForm user for 10+ years, LastPass is better)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.6).
I love this addon! It does exactly what I need. Thank you for creating it.
Why won't Firefox add this functionality into the base code?? Is this too much to ask? Now more broken addons again with the never ending updates that no one is asking for - instead of something like this we have begged for! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.3).
Please update to FF4!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
I have used this addon for a long time and I've used it since it was first developed. This is one of the first addons I install when I have a new Firefox installation. I know if a link is a pdf file, opens in a new window, etc just from hovering over it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Not sure what that guy is talking about. Ghostery did not install adware on your system (as stated on their site ghostery.com).
This addon helps protect people's privacy by blocking the ability for advertisers to track you.I use this addon and it's one of the best of the best.
If you install this
1) Go to Tools (menu) and Choose Ghostery->Update Bug Lists
2) Go to Tools (menu) and Choose Ghostery->Manage Ghostery Options
3) Go to the "Blocking" tab and select "All" and choose "On".
4) Optionally and highly recommended, go to the Options tab, select "Enable bug list auto-update" and "Enable ghost count". Also, in the "Whitelist" tab, and add "images.google.com" in the Whitelist to fix the new Google images bug until the next update.
These should be the defaults. It's not so useful without these settings!
(Ghostery + AdBlock + BetterPrivacy + Beef Taco + NoScript = Amazing Protection!)
Didn't work for me. It made all the images in all pages disappear. Perhaps it's a conflict with one of my existing addons? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.0625).
This is one of the best add-ons!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.2.1). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
I love this add-on! It works great. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.2.1).
Excellent!! This is exactly what I was looking for. It really only needs one more thing - to open searches in a new tab.
This is easy to fix, though. Type about:config into the address bar, and then put the following into the filter box:
Change it to TRUE by double-clicking it.
