Very good Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This add on is very good with a colorful interface, that makes it stand out compared to other ad ons. It is VERY Good with toolbars such as one I made, and the stumbleupon toolbar, which I like very much. The only issues are very small and they are: 1. When using the wot add on with it (www.mywot.com, not the mudwot add on the other one) making the security bar a tad bit fat, just a tad, wot users, dont be discouraged to use it, wot still works fine and its a beautiful theme, just the bar is a tad bit fatter than I expected.. and any tabs are gray until you click them, which I think should be fixed. BesideS that, great job! Th statusbar is also AMAZING!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.38).
Get wot today! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Wot is like a miracle to me. before wot, I was the type of person who went to incredibly dangerous sites and downloaded their products such as smiley central. But now with wot, I can tell what sites are unsafe before i even click a link to the page! Wot doesnt interfere with your computer at all, and doesnt slow you down at all! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (20070501).
Helpful yet misleading Rated 4 out of 5 stars
CallingID Link Advisor is an add-on that identifies the true address of a website, and displays information about the location, at which the site is maintained, by performing a quick who-is lookup. If it can't retrieve all the information, it considers that site unsafe. This add-on is helpful, to identify site spoofing, but just because a site keeps certain information about it secure, that doesn't make it unsafe at all. Plenty of sites such as mine (www.wehaveitall.net) keep their information secure, so the entire world doesn't see their address! This add-on deserves a 7. It helps you identify site spoofing, but it doesn't help you identify safe and unsafe websites at all, like it claims to do. Is it worth downloading? It depends. If you don't have the wot add-on, (www.mywot.com, or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3456) or any other security things, then this is probably helpful, although, wot doesnt slow down your computer, and tells you what sites are truely safe and unsafe based on peoples experiences, and several automatic sources.
