Doesn't work anymore for BBC iPLAYER flv's Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Used to work pretty good, but now, something looks like having changed : BBC iPlayer flash videos aren't detected anymore, that IS SO SAD !!!!
Edit, for those interested :
OK, it's due do Firefox 52's new restrictions about Flash. Go there :
and opt out of html5, and flash videos will be detected again !
OK, disabling an html5 player in favour of Flash doesn't sound as a solution for the future, and I don't know why this version (6.20) of DownloadHelper can't detect mp4 inside BBC html5 iPlayer ...
Doesn't work anymore Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Doesn't work anymore, and I can't find any other add-on doing that job.
Still doesn't work with YouTube 1080 videos Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Just like before, I still get 0 bytes files with YouTube 1080 videos. So I'll keep on using YouTube Video and Audio Downloader add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.

Great extension, but, even with this last version (0.4.1.5), closed tabs button only works sometimes. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.4.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
For those experiencing "ssl_error_handshake_failure_alert" error. Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I got this error each time I was installing a new driver for my card reader or a new version of eID-middleware. Note that it doesn't happen with Chrome or Internet Explorer.
To avoid this, just, very simply :
- uninstall Firefox add-on Belgium-eid
- restart Firefox
- reinstall Firefox add-on Belgium-eid
- restart Firefox
And it will work !

Works now better than the very famous DownloadHelper, which can't even download 720p vids anymore from YouTube.
But, as DownloadHelper, and because of YouTube new restrictions, can't detect 1080p videos.

To akawaguc Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Thanks for your tip, but I quite don't understand what I have to do to restore the jump-to-word functionality in Firefox 25. Could you just explain it very simply ?
Thanks a lot !
Great extension anyway !
Great excepted 1080 Youtube limitation Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Wonderful add-on of course, but yes indeed, as previous reviewers said, downloading 1080p videos from YouTube is now impossible ...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Yes it works on Vevo ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
To Gameboi : you're wrong, just refresh the page before downloading and it will work. I'm talking about version 4.9.21a1.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Latest 4.9.21a1 version works good on Vevo ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was having problems with 4.9.17 version, YouTube Vevo videos giving the 0 byte file. So I've installed the latest 4.9.21a1 version you can find here :
and now it works perfectly ! Thanks a lot !
Better and better Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I totally agree with what AlexOren said and don't really have much more to add : Linkificator is getting better and better ! And its developer is really cooperative and willing to help.
Ok the extension still slows down the opening of certain pages with very numerous links, but it's better than what it used to be.
And, for instance, it doesn't cause no freeze in Hotmail/Outlook.com, what Linkification used to do !
So let's stay in touch with this add-on !
Perfect ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I had been using the "Auto-Hide" extension for years now. But don't look for it, you won't find it cause it's never been on Mozilla official add-ons pages, and its developer has now totally given up and closed his website. But it was working perfectly, allowing full screen with ability to choose which toolbars you wanted to see or not in this mode, even Windows Taskbar. But today, with this brand new version 18 of Firefox, full-screen mode didn't show me no toolbars anymore at all ! What deception ! Then I started to look after another extension that could help me and I found this Fullscreen Toolbar Hover, which perfectly does the job ! But I'd better say : which is the perfect companion to this Auto-hide extension, because, this last one stills allows me to choose which toolbars I want to see in Full Screen, what would not be possible with Fullscreen Toolbar Hover only.
If anyone is interested, I've kept a copy of this "Auto-Hide" extension, and am OK to send it via private message.
So you saved my day, Sepandparhami !
Now really incompatible with Firefox 17 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
With Firefox 17, lauching add-on manager is now impossible, just as many entries of Help menu ... it smells the end for this add-on, damn ...
Has stopped working ! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Since yesterday, has totally stopped working !! I've tried reinstalling it, disabling my anti-virus and firewall, but nothing worked ! What happened ?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.1.1-signed).
Great add-on, except this Hotmail freeze Rated 5 out of 5 stars
To beautifulmnd : no, unfortunately, adding hotmail.com,login.live.com,outlook.com to Linkification exceptions don't change a thing to this new Hotmail freeze. At least I can see that this freeze only occurs at Hotmail opening and don't last more than 2-3 minutes.
Which is far too much of course, but ok, non-permanent.
Excellent !! But just 1 bug ... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Terrific add-on, I'm naked when I browse without it !
But I just experienced 1 bug very recently, in version 0.4. It is very precisely this : when Single Window Mode enabled, try to set up Sync in Firefox tools menu, choose "I Have an Account", and click on link "Show me how", the page will load in a new window, not in a new tab in current window, but remain invisible. While it will appear if Single Window Mode is disabled. I'm On Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bits.
Thanks if you can help !
Very good but ... not fast enough ! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very useful, works very good, but is not as fast as this new floating toolbar, part of standard Firefox, that now displays links url's on page's bottom, even in full-screen. Which, I'm sorry, leads me to first have a look at that toolbar, instead of waiting for these URL tooltips to appear. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).

Your link isn't working, Paul UKBrit, the file is no more available.
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I've installed it, but it didn't work with any websites I've tried, so I've disabled it, waiting for a no more experimental add-on.
Sad, because Smart Middle Click used to work perfectly.
