This extension is a replacement of Firefox official error page, which adds some useful tools to aid your troubleshooting.
The tools include:
- Google Cache (view the page cached by Google)
- Coralize (use Coral CDN proxy to connect again)
- Wayback ...
This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following:
Search in Google. When input box pops with suggestion terms, pressing down arrow key will scroll page down instead of selecting the suggestion. Disabling YASS or using SmoothWheel solves the problem. The bug occurred to me on Windows and Linux. Mac version does not have this problem.
Other than this, I enjoy YASS.
I wonder if there is any progress on this issue? Or are we forced to always give 1-star rating to raise attention?
After years' searches and trials, there is finally a unified findbar/highlight solution! Nice work!
A few observations: once installed or related preferences are changed (e.g. change highlight color), if "Show highlights grid in the scrollbar" is checked, no highlight will be shown until Firefox is restarted. Also, after highlight color is changed, only the highlight grid color is updated. The color in the web page needs Firefox restart.
Nice alternative to Search Marker! 2 suggestions:
1) Move marker column to the left of scrollbar so that scrollbar does not have to reflow.
2) Make markers clickable, which scrolls to the target. Should not be hard to implement.
So far the redux (version 1.2) still contains bug. Open Google, turn "Open search results in a new browser window" on. Click on any result without holding any key. The new tab will NOT have any history. Tested without any other extension installed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1-signed).
I second Dawudd's review. One problem caused by the "bug" is that when using with Tab Mix Plus, if I replace the last closed tab with blank tab, then open a new tab, it does not replace the blank tab. After reverting to 1.0.6, the problem goes away.
quite good, and now can search with Google. But does anyone know if I can search in a new tab? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
Indeed it's a nice extension for Web 2.0 application. However it's not what I want, or I thought. First, clips is static. Even the original source is changed, the clip remains. Second, clips are stored in it's server, not my own computer, which is somehow like restriction.
Just personal opinions.
