thanks, this is great and simple - the drop down menu on the reload button was a cool touch.

CustomizeGoogle

the old days Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Disadvantages: some of the features work, but most of the ones I use don't. It did not work as I expected, especially on google mail and images.

thanks for the new version

Favicon Picker 3

good job Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Tested on OSX and Linux, and works fine. On a Mac, you need to use the sidebar to change the icons. As mentioned before, the buttons are squished, and the paste from url won't work, but other than that, it works great. Keep up the good work.

could the two base64 reviewers describe your issue in more detail? what are you trying to do? (or post a link describing - the picture didn't really help much). what do you want the addon to do? what do you mean by "convert" the base64 string? if you have a "data:image/png;base64" string you want to use as an icon, paste it into the address bar, and save it. firefox saves as it a regular png, and you can select this image as your favicon. (you can delete it right away after that).

icons in firefox3 aren't stored in the bookmarks.html file anymore, if that is what you're thinking. that's why this addon is really difficult to write. and image attributes for bookmark elements (i think) are never base64 encoded
