Mercury Connect

Not 100% Reliable...Bug with Soon-to-be-Released Firefox v29 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

First, I've been using this extension since it was released. I doesn't capture a lot of changes I make to my Firefox bookmarks. Usually, I end up deleting all bookmarks in Mercury on my iPhone and then I start up sycing again.

Second, with the new Firefox 29 that is scheduled to be released by the end of April, there is no way to permanently change the location of the Mercury Connect toobar icon. You can change it but the next time you launch Firefox, it goes back to its default location.

white to gray gradient

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Maybe it's because I have a sky-blue background in the Mac OS X finder, but this persona looks slightly blue-gray---AND I LIKE IT. A LOT. Clean and crisp and so much better than the default Firefox gray. Don't change it.

Chromifox Basic

Great looking...one drawback Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great looking, compact theme.

One drawback: If the items in your bookmark toolbar extend past the right side of the window, there is no way to access them--unlike in other Firefox themes.

I'm running the Mac OS on a Dell Mini netbook. I don't have the option of making my window larger than the size of the display (1024 horizontal pixels); therefore, I can't access toolbar items that are in never-never land to the right.

So I'm using Chromifox on my "regular" Macs and another theme I don't like as well on my netbook.

FoxWorld

Nice But Unused Space Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is really a beautiful and clean theme and the light blue shades are easy on the eyes.

One suggestion: There is a lot of unused space between the navigation/address bar and the title bar for the window itself. Monitors keeping getting wider but not a lot taller. How about shrinking this space? See Chromifox Basic (another theme I like a lot) as an example.

Close Tab by Double Click

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does just what I want.

Would be slightly better if the entire Firefox window would NOT close when double-clicking on the last tab that is open.
