My Reviews

PageZipper

Simple & Effective Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've looked at and tried several "load next page" add-ons and this one seems to be the best. I don't have to program it (AutoPager) or use keystrokes to make it work. One click and I can scroll to my heart's content. An "always on" option would be great but I think it's already the best of its kind for ease of use. I like where the navigation buttons are, though some transparency might be nice. A vertical bar might also work nicely. Thanks!

Buzz it!

First Buzz Extension! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

That was quick! Extension works as described, very straightforward. No doubt there will be more elaborate Firefox extensions coming in the near future but for now this does the job just when it's needed. Thanks!

Great translation function (though I don't see the point of tabies). Too bad this add-on isn't supported any more. I hope someone else takes it on because a quick translation took is sorely needed since the WordChamp toolbar is out of date.

Picozu Shooter

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Fantastic! Like the old Abduction, plus a copy function. Does everything, unlike the alternative. I can't seem to get it to clip Flash but it seems to work for others so it might be my system. (I have the same problem with every screen capture add-on.)

Abduction! - Webpage Screenshots Screen Capture

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Argh! This was a such a great add-on but the latest version takes away the option to save as JPEG and selecting is buggy. A huge step backwards. Will try to install older version or try a different add-on.

MouseZoom

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great extension for quickly zooming text. I use it all the time. It has a bug, though. If you happen to double click on the MouseZoom icon on the status bar, the status bar and toolbars all disappear, and there is no way to get them back except for restarting Firefox. But as long as you don't try clicking on the icon it works great.

Print Hint

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would like the opposite of this - an extension that makes Firefox print from the screen stylesheet rather than from the print stylesheet. I hate print stylesheets! Users should decide how to format things.

Abduction! - Webpage Screenshots Screen Capture

No flash, no copy Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice add-on, but unfortunately does not capture flash on my platform (FF3, XP SP2, Flash 9.0 r124). The option to copy would be nice too.

Screengrab

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Not terribly satisfactory. The jpgs are grainy and you can't just copy and paste because it adds a "jpeg" file extension that isn't recognized by all applications (e.g. Outlook). You can't copy and paste a png into email either, so you have to save and rename the "jpeg" or save and attach the png. Also it doesn't copy Flash. The only useful aspect is being able to save an entire non-flash tab as an image, but other screenshot extensions do that too.

MouseZoom

Fantastic! And it doesn't conflict with Image Zoom. They both work independently. It would be nice to have context menu options like Image Zoom does, but it's great as is. Thank you!

Bookmark Sorting

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Here's another vote to update this extension for FF3. FF3's bookmark sorting is infuriating the way it mixes folders and bookmarks together. Google already has enough information on me, they don't need to see my bookmarks too!
