Great for "managing" Firefox's RAM or updating add-ons if you miss the brief notification window, since Firefox will usually complain if you manually try to close and open it quickly or kill it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7).
Very useful add-on that is easy to use. Default time-out is too short however. The default appearance is also too invasive, with the toolbar respawning and un-hiding itself when the add-on is updated. Not sure why an add-on needs a "power button", but it should be located in the Firefox context menu or toolbar so that the add-on's tool and status bars are not seen when the add-on is "off". Finally, an add-on this powerful tends to meld into users' lives and needs to be kept up to date!
11/22/12 Edit: Can no longer recommend this addon since it's not kept up to date on the Mozilla website, and this version will probably badly crash. And the version on the developer's website is also obsolete. Used it every day for a couple of years, but I need it to work every day. iMacros seems to be a better choice.
I feel like crying over my wasted youth without this add-on. Very useful and full-featured.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.5).
Excellent extension. Happy with it as it is, but could use some options in the right-click menu to throttle speed and to categorize the download.
I use this addon to achieve my longtime dream of having one bar at the top of the browser combining the address bar, the location bar, and bookmarks toolbar (tabs are moved to the side with another addon). I do have a problem with my autohidden Windows taskbar sometimes staying under the Firefox window, but that could be Firefox's or Windows's fault. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.20110330).
Morbus is right, installing this extension is unneeded when right-clicking and customizing is possible, but it can be difficult to grab the button. At least in my FF 4.0 configuration it was a smaller "+" to the left of the tabs, not the actual new tab button to the right that needed to be dragged off.
One of my favorite extensions. Hard to improve upon since other extensions like Multiple Tab Handler work well with it. Should be standard functionality in Firefox.
This is a potentially life-changing extension, but it could use some optimizing. It's slow when loading the next page and very slow when opening the options window. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.6.0.25).
Top 3 FF extension! I too will beg that it be updated for FF3. On my knees. With my forehead touching the ground.
