RSS-Ticker is a wonderful addon, I can read the feed from several news sites without leaving the website I'm reading. Unfortunately, with the latest changes in Firefox, the author had to recreate the addon, removing a couple of features.I made a branch in Github with some fixes (Hide items older than n days, use a folder as root folder for all feeds, show only the latest n item by feed, show visited items with other font-style/color, fix the "no feeds found" page when Firefox closes unexpectedly), until the author has the time to continue developing this addon.
Works perfect! I can now split the Bookmarks items and the Bookmarks button in two different toolbars. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).
It does what it says.
A very tiny addon.
I have a problem with the focus too. My homepage is Google because if I go to my homepage is for do a search.
To avoid url bar stealing focus I comment the line gURLBar.select(). And then all works perfect.
I don't need to check my account anymore... WMN do it for me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.3).
It works great if you live in UK or US.
But if you want to use another Google server, you need to do:
1) Edit prefs.xul and add a new mapthis-maptype radiogroup with a value greater than 2
2) Edit mapmenu.js and add in mapMenu() and mapToMenu() the new case value replacing "http://maps.google" + countryExt with "http://maps.google.fr" or any server you want
