Image Search

easy, simple Rated 5 out of 5 stars

only suggestion is a open all, so i dont have to click each one manually. and to add a link to "Jeffrey's Exif Viewer" the site is http://regex.info/exif.cgi . other than that, tis a nice addon, clean, seems light on resources.

Media Sniffer

stopped working Rated 4 out of 5 stars

not sure what happen. it just stopped working....so i reset firefox, reinstalled media sniffer, worked fine... then added my other addons just image zoom and adblocker. went to test media sniffer and it stopped working again. maybe the new firefox? also, the update was supposed to have an icon, i dont see it anywhere.

EDIT !!!!!
reverted back to an older version and its working now. newest version seems to have issues.

Media Sniffer

brillian, simple, easy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

simple, works flawlessly, i have options to download, or play in an external media player, i love it so far. only suggestion is an option to turn off/on as someone mentions. but could be kept in the right click context menu to keep things clean. no need for a button. also if in the right click context it was shown in a "tree?" format. i hope im saying that right. sometimes there are alot of videos that pop up like imdb for example (different qualities im assuming). so if i right click to copy some text or do another function, and there happens to be a video playing, trailer, or ad. i get a long list, taking up a good chunk of the screen. granted its in order and always on top so its not difficult to spot the other functions of the context menu, but would just tidy things up a bit.

Page Portal

more features / options Rated 5 out of 5 stars

its nice as is.. i found this as an alternative to "coolpreviews" . and its sufficient, but is lacking features. an icon that hovers over a link would be more efficient then constantly right clicking and looking for the portal option. but thats minor. the more major feature that im missing most is while in the portal page, having right click options. like open image, save image, open in new tab, etc. just basic right click context options. ive only been using this recently because i updated firefox and i used to use "coolpreviews" constantly cause it was so easy and efficient. i guess thats what im missing. i use it judiciously for those reasons, just lack of options.
hopefully there will be some added features in the future. but other than that thanx for making this addon.

Image Assistant

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

this thing is pretty awesome. would be nice if the "open image" when you right click was in bold print, or had an icon. just to make it easier to find since i have tons of right click options.
other than that, has worked flawlessly so far. good stuff

MediaPlayerConnectivity

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

could use better flash support. works great with divx and windows media, havent tried quicktime or others. it picks up .swf files from flash but usually thats the flash player and not the file i would like to stream. it should pick up the flv file instead. ive been using another program that does a good job of finding the flv file, i copy it to clipboard and stream it that way. but if this one fixed this issue it would get higher rating from me. had 2 give 3 stars because majority of files are flash based not divx or window media. sorry...

NoRedirect

blank tab was my bad.. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

i like it, and itworks. but is there a way to prevent a blank tab from popping up everytime i get a redirect blocked?? just the info bar that pops up over the existing tab would be nice with a timer. then i can decide to click the link on that bar or wait a few sec. for it to disappear.

*edit* 7/16/09...
that blank tab issue was my fault. i use 'tab mix plus' and have it set to open links in a new tab. i changed it and set it to open in same tab and its fixed. i like opening links in new tabs, so ill just deal with the blank tab whenever i get redirected.... it only happens on a few sites anyways, and not worth changing my 'tabmixplus' settings. so i changed it to 5 stars cause it def. works.

Extended Statusbar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

i like it, it adds function to the classic style, and has the newer style for those that like it. but one thing... how do you get those divider bars to display in classic mode. i see it on the pictures but i dont have that option.

Extended Statusbar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

ditto what zynergi said.

this is more like a whole different add-0n rather than an upgrade. it changes the whole thing entirely in my opinion.

i dont mind a few tweaks, and updated looks, but its not even in the status bar anymore. thats my biggest gripe.

i wont rate it low because it wouldnt be fair for what it used to be, and might possibly be again considering all the comments. so ill give it 4 stars so it wont effect the overall score, in case you revert back to the old style. or at least give the option to have it IN the status bar.

Stop Autoplay

please add !!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

i like it, except it would be damn near perfect if i could right click on a blocked flash and have the option to remove that flash. some times flash pop ups appear and even though its blocked, its just this big empty frame taking up half the screen. i have to play the pop up and either look for a close button or just let it play itself out. and that kinda sux.
so a right click, and "remove flash" option would be stellar. i think flashblock has this option.
