Manage Folders

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Perfect, thanks! :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).

zblack

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

So far I really like it. Nice and clean, simple, quite compact (more compact the better) and easy to look at.

Thanks :-)

Snapper

Perfection in an Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Was looking for something like this which is very simple and copied the grabbed area to the clipboard (an absolute necessity surely) and this meets my requirements.

I had tried and liked Shooter https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13485 and Abduction! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3408 but Snapper is simply perfection.

Thanks! :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).

Abduction! - Webpage Screenshots Screen Capture

Copy to Clipboard? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very nice Addon so far. I remember using this a long time ago but it was never reinstalled for some reason.

The only thing I'd like is a context menu/right click option to copy to the clipboard the resized area or better still a little button on the page.

Thanks for the thoughtful Addon and please keep up the good work :-)

Screengrab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Very nice so far. Only thing I'd like is to be able to save as Bitmap (.bmp).

Keep up the good work :-)

Vacuum Places Improved

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi, thanks for the work with this Addon. It looks very interesting and hopefully it'll release some strain from my Firefox browsing.

I came here via http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/09/06/optimize-firefox-performance-via-defragmentation-add-on-applications/ and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13824

I've installed this. Would be nice if someone technically minded can add a review of what this is actually intended to do (that link above to MyDigitalLife is a good start).

Love the vacuum cleaner icon! Would be nice to be able to repeat the image on the main toolbar too.

Thanks again and please keep up the good work :)

selectivecookiedelete

Great Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very simple and works perfectly. I've been using a few options to maintain cookies but this is the best so far because it only saves things on the 'saved list' -that can be done with other Addons but here it's done very easily and of course while it's saving it's quickly deleting every other cookie you don't want on the fly.

Please keep this Addon nice and simple. Thanks to the developer for the work :-)

-----Just to add a point, this isn't integrated with 3.5.2's "Clear history when Firefox closes" Options/Settings ie FF will delete all cookies even if they're being protected by selectivecookiedelete

So the user of this Addon will have to leave "cookies" it unticked like this http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/5362/selectivecookiedelete.jpg and visit selectivecookiedelete's options every time they was to clear cookies. I tend to visit that every day anyway but it would be better to have the option of working automatically for people I think.

Since selectivecookiedelete works so well I'm happy for sites to leave a cookie because I know it'll be removed (and my favourites will be saved). Blocking every single cookie can cause some problems and cookies is how browsing works (and works well as we do like them on our favourite sites).

A little bit more integration would make this perfect. Left clicking the icon would also be good if it auto-cleaned everything, rather than having the popup and then clicking "Save prefrences and remove cookies now".

Or maybe I'm getting too complicated? :p

CookieMan Context

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Love it -simple and almost perfect.

The only thing I'd like extra is a tick box (selection) next to every item or the ability to press CTRL on the keyboard to make multiple selctions before using the Context (so I can delet, allow etc a whole load of items).

Otherwise, great stuff and thanks for the hard work and sharing :-)

Copy Title

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simply perfect. Thanks.

FireFTP

My favourite FTP application Rated 5 out of 5 stars

My favourite FTP application. Not much more I can say except I love this app (simple to use, easy to look at) and thanks to the developer for the work bringing this to the Firefox community :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.5).

ReminderFox

Wonderful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really like this Addon. Within minutes I knew it was for me!

The only tiny little niggle is the Status Bar icon. It's very large (2-3 times the size of any other icon there) and it's virtually unidentifiable (ie it's a greyed out squiggle). Let's have the main RF paw logo or something more obvious and bright like a calender (or let the user change the icon (which I did in your .JAR file)).

Thank you to the developers for all their hard work.

5/5 Highly recommended.

Easy YouTube Video Downloader

Version 1.2 with Flashblock Rated 4 out of 5 stars

All working fine until Version 1.2.

Now Flashblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433) is causing the download buttons to not appear. As seen here http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/9089/easydownloaderror.jpg

Works OK if I reinstall the old version Easy YouTube Downloader.

Still a great to use Addon.

Custom Buttons²

Wonderful Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Definitely my favourite Addon and the first thing I put back in to Firefox on an install.

Just can't do without it as it gives me control of the Web, MS Explorer, my files and anything else I might want on a button. A button? It's quick and we push them all day as they're quick. The more the better!

Thanks to everyone who has developed this and helped me make my browser perfect. Your hard work and time is very much appreciated :-)

X-notifier (for Gmail,Hotmail,Yahoo,AOL ...)

Increase notification popup time? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like this a lot, thanks to the developer. It works perfect with Hotmail.

One query, how do I get the notification popup to stay showing so I can easily see I have new email? Would be good if it stayed up until mouseover.

Thanks for the great addon! :-)

>Audio

For those who want a longer audio alert add your own .wav or MP3 and make it as long running as you like.

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simple and perfect. Can't ask for more.

Thank you for the great Addon.

Image Assistant

Works very well Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works very well, thank you.

Would be nice if I could change the default viewer/opener (ie I'd choose Paint often).

Keep up the good work :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.5.1).

Launchy

No longer working well Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Used to like this a lot- thanks to the author. It's now become poor sadly and I've removed it. I think it's clashing with Flash or other temporary stored material.

If you are wanting to send (launch) an image then try Image Assistant https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/790 That is excellent. It previews the image in WIndows's image viewer and then you can right click to edit in Paint.

I'm also using the old Send To http://mfe.gorgias.de/ for sending text to Notepad. You have to disable FF's checking compatibility but it works perfectly. I've not found an Addon that was as well.

What are other people using? :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.2.0).
