Tab Tweaks

turn off "scroll to selected tab on mouseover on tabbar" Rated 3 out of 5 stars

i probably would have kept this addon just for the tab text improvements if it weren't for it being completely unusable to me with this annoying automatically scrolls to the currently selected tab on mouse over tabbar . how am i supposed to select another tab if it keeps scrolling to the current one grrrrrr, oh well, bye bye tab tweaks.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).

Profile Buttons

not fully functional Rated 1 out of 5 stars

the few settings that are there, have no effect, but the real issue being the main reason i installed this was to switch profiles which it fails to do. after reading the description and comparing this to ProfileSwitcher, smaller filesize i thought hmmm maybe this would be a good replacement. nope.

All Tabs Helper

Firefox tabs list on steroids!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very slick addon. generally have about100 tabs open most times so i use a rather large fixed tab width (250px minimum) and "tabs overflow scrollbar" So, in addition to the tabs list i end up with a horizontal scrollbar that sits all the way across and just underneath the tabs toolbar. Works great to maximize screen real-estate all the while taking advantage of firefox's full tab browsing potential. Alltabs helper is a smarter, helpful, very powerful tabs list aid with well implemented feature set, looks like you thought of everything, WOW!!!

@ Rolandoalvdalen, firefox tabs are a catastrophe?seriously?!

if firefox is so bad at handling tabs then why are you using it, why are you even here???let me guess, you prefer chrome. uhg

firefox has by far the best tab browsing experience there is.

External Application Buttons 2

How do you remove the ugly divider?? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great, but please remove the divider that cannot be removed, firefox customizations such that if we wanted a separator we can simply drag and drop one in, however this addon adds a separator that cannot be removed, furthermore the original external application button addon never had this either and i think it is for good reason. it is totally not necessary.

another thing, how do you move the position? i tried "customize" but i cant drag it into a different position!? uhg

@Soilentblub command line parameters work perfectly fine not sure what you are on about.

Cookie Monster

needs parse error fixing and cookie protection Rated 3 out of 5 stars

i wouldn't say it is the best, but its pretty good but certanly not perfect recently started getting some strange parse error when trying to "view cookies" so those little extra helpful menu enties no longer work on my palemoon browser. as for my firefox browser, only thing really missing is cookie protection, a whitelist of some well thought out kind where you can clear you browser without deleting those protected or whitelisted cookies that you want, also need to consider some sites or domains you might need to keep a select few of the cookies on that site and not all, so whitelisting by domain isnt always the most user friendly. if and when this addon includes cookie protection i will then install it to my firefox, until then it remains on palemoon only.

Advanced Cookie Manager

feature request Rated 4 out of 5 stars

as mentioned by others, cookie protection or some sort of whitelist that is immune to cookie clearing so when clean the browser only the cookies in the whitelist or some protected list are kept, also most time you have cookies you want on a site but they also have tracking or ad related cookies so most users wanting a cookie manager are going to want a way to separate and will only settle for a cookie manager that is capable.

Form History Control

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

back when lazarus form recovery used to work, it was by far the better addon but sadly its become abandoned. Ive had a chance to use Form History and it works good for some things like blogging or long forum posts but as a "catch all" recovery solution its just not catching everything. i am a bit put off by that. this is supposed to begin recording the instant i begin typing and yet with the latest firefox 39 on win7 seems to only record certain fields. for example i goto ebay and search "alligator clamp" and reload the page by accident or delete the search terms manually or whatever, i would expect Form History Control to be able to "fill fields with the most recent data" but nothing is repopulated in the search, i then checked under "restore editor field" and the entry reads in ignorant greyed out text "no backup found". i even went so far as to make sure i had a check mark under "Save a backup of editor fields while typing, even when in private browsing mode" to no avail, i even initiated a manual save, nope...nada. this is just one example of the many form fields i encounter where form history refuses to record the data, even with a manual save.

Update:after about rewritting the search words in the ebay search field manually and clearing the entry about 50 times (roughly 5 minutes of clicking and fiddling) form history control managed to save the terms "alligator clamp". seriously. what a hassle. i just do not understand the love for this addon, i mean if it worked as expected i would be all on board. sigh. back to partially working lazarus.

Form History Control

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

originally installed this a while back and it didnt save form history very well, i am not sure what to think yet, jusst installed it again on the latest firefox after a long break from firefox. we will see how it goes. thanks for making this addon, seeing how there is not much available in terms of form recovery.

Auto Unload Tab

impressive Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wow, i am blown away by how much better this addon works compared to Bartab, bartab auto unloads tabs but when it does it, it basically destroys the tab, i try to reload the unloaded tab and it becomes an empty tab not remembering the url adress, auto unload remebers the url and works where bartab does not. i am not saying Auto Unload Tabs is perfect, there may very well be bugs but i have not encountered any. latest firefox on win7.

for the users that havent figured this out yet, max loaded tab needs to be changed or auto unload after "x" minutes will unload them immediately or not at all.

top shelf Rated 5 out of 5 stars

innovative, intuitive, easily an instant favorite. great for troubleshooting if you tend to run firefox with a lot of addons, simply load up a clean profile alongside the current one from the drop down menu on the button, doesn't get any better than that!

Select like a Boss

omg Rated 5 out of 5 stars

omg! why is this not default behavior?!

P.U.K a rude PopUp/Under Killer(prev: killjasmin)

not effortless but works ok Rated 3 out of 5 stars

this addon works good to instantly kill any website matching the ones entered in the blacklist, the sad part about this addon is the process could be made so much more simply and seamless for the user. for example add a popunder button inside the navigation bar similar to the STAR for adding favorites but instead would add sites to the kill list.Currently, not only are burdened with copying and pasting it into the list, its a real pain to go digging for it under options> addon> then scrolling through the list off extensions in the addon manager to then finally hit options button on the addon entry. that's a lot of clicks just to get to the list. more surprising yet, is this is the only addon of its kind which is alarming considering how popunders are on the rise.

Kill Button

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

this is garbage, reload the page and the elements come right back, so whats the point. the icons are terribly ugly. minimal effort put forth by the author, at least try next time. YARIP has the same function integrated and its permanent. in addition does much more filters, blacklist, whitelist, domain, etc.

Classicish Add-on Manager

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

valid points made by iBreniaR. i disagree with the developer as well, removing buttons because you think its too busy? isnt that the whole point in having an addon manager. its always been there and its always been fine having it there. but then here you are removing buttons. how is someone supposed to uninstall a userscript?!
   thats right

this addon BREAKS being able to uninstall greasemonkey or scriptish scripts as the Remove button has been uh...removed. in fact you cant even find Remove in the context menu!!!! as there isn't one there normally for scripts, Uh oh!. this is most likely the biggest problem facing Classicish addon but its critical isuue for anyone using userscripts, something you do install and uninstall frequently. instead, how about an option instead of forcing these changes on by default and breaking things. that said, i still like this extension a lot. i hope it gets fixed up right away and stays around for a long time.

for the interim at least post some instructions on what file to edit to get the Remove button back on there ourselves, hopefully with out the need for another addon. i have no interest installing Stylish just to fix a UI problem in Classicish. just tell us what file to edit and what to change it to, thanks.

Form History Control

never saves anything Rated 3 out of 5 stars

ok, but i really dont get why its limited to only begin saving until atleast 10 characters are typed. this limitation greatly impacts usability. i still prefer lazarus over form history, because lazarus more often than not saves that crucial bit of info that makes it indispensable.would be better if it had more aggressive saving functionality.

Yet Another Remove It Permanently

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Still no Palemoon support? mozilla continues to make bad UI decisions with every new version, Palemoon is pretty buch Firefox but with a carefully selected feature set for a better user experience. Please Kim, its been long time coming, add support so we can enjoy your work in the more user conscious and friendly Palemoon browser.

Old Add Bookmark Behavior

Bookmark this tab? Rated 2 out of 5 stars

dont have "Bookmark This Tab" ...seriously, where do you get that.

Scrollbar Anywhere

mixed results, poor right click handling Rated 3 out of 5 stars

it feels kinda slow to me. also, doesn't handle Right mouse button smartly like it once used to. ScrollbarAnywhere worked best in Firefox 1 and 2, (yes, thats how long i've been using it) then firefox updated beyond compatibility and i switched to Gesture addon that had similar functionality integrated. then finally switched to Grab and Drag. i modded Grab and Drag to have crazy amount of acceleration and as a result is snappy like the way scrollbaranywhere used to be. while G&D's handling of right clicks isn't perfect, its still better than what we have here. the problem is Scrollbar Anywhere should extent timeout of the context menu the moment you begin scrolling until after the right button is released to avoid accidental context menu trigger or something like that. Scrollbars wants to do both when i let go of the right button. i only want to see the context menu when i right click, not when i right click and scroll. i don't want to see the context menu pop up after every dam time i scroll the page, Scollbars addon never used to do that back in the day. Will keep it as is, but hoping the creator can figure out a clever way to address the right click context menu.

not finished Rated 3 out of 5 stars

i hope the develper isnt finished with this addon because here is a solid foundation for what could be an amazing cookie addon. one glaring oversight is when selecting to Show cookies, it would make sense if the cookiekeeper window show cookies for the current site, instead of having to first manually copy the domain and paste it into the filter box. Aside from that, and few other bugs, i like the feature set. with some work this is one addon that could standout from the rest.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

agreed this needs to work on unfocused tabs otherwise it is pointless. initially thought it worked but then on closer inspection i see the name field is populated with the tab that is in focus, so Bookmarking unfocused tab from context menu is not working with this addon. someone needs to step up and finish this but even after all these years and still no fix.
