works beautifully Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I find this extension indispensible. It works exactly as advertised and has since its beginning. custom.firefox.lady has always been highly responsive to feedback and is always pleasant to deal with, and this extension has always been a joy to use. Deserves more than five stars. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
bad extension, 1.4.1 should not be installed on Fx 3.5.x Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I know reviews aren't supposed to be used for problem reports, but users visiting this AMO page need a big warning.
This would get a five-star review if it actually worked with Firefox 3.5.x. Do not install version 1.4.1, as it breaks the Firefox UI pretty badly. The extension itself is not only unusable, it makes Firefox 3.5.6 unusable.
Once Mr. Gillick updates it, it should work fine; he usually does a good job. In the meantime, though, this really should be listed only for Fx
very useful extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using Stay-Open since it became available, and I've had no problems with it. It does exactly what its description says it does. :)
The author is very responsive to feedback. I reported a small bug (middle-clicking folders didn't work), and within a few days there was a new version with the fix.
I find it invaluable for picking out a few bookmarks to open without having to drill down through the menu each time. This is especially useful to me when I want to open several of the items in a live bookmark's feed.
For earlier versions of Firefox, I used the middleclicknocollapse extension, which gave some of the functionality Stay-Open does. Having gotten used to it, it would be very difficult for me to live without. And Stay-Open is quite an improvement over middleclicknocollapse -- Stay-Open also handles the history menu. So, thanks very much, custom.firefox.lady!

This extension does exactly what it says it does, and does it well. When not in use, it's unobtrusive, and when you need it, it can save a great deal of frustration.
Cosmic Cat, thanks and welcome back. :)
