Been using Firefox since as far back as version 0.6. Have tried other browsers, but because I do a lot of image collecting the add-ons available for Firefox really make it my must-have browser.
This is a fantastic add-on that I have been waiting a long time for. I've now upgraded my rating to 5 stars as an initial bug I reported has quickly been fixed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
While a great idea, it does have one major problem. Clicking on links which have a target such as target="_blank" causes a new window to open. Once this issue is fixed it will be perfect. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
A great add-on which makes it easy for back-tracking how you got to a page. Also works great with the Session Exporter add-on, which means I can now save large browsing sessions and load them later with the full history of each tab. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).
This add-on has now made headlines in the Australian media:
Stopping 'Stop Tony Meow': how web plug-in caught the Department of Prime Minister's attention - http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/stopping-stop-tony-meow-how-web-plugin-caught-the-department-of-prime-ministers-attention-20140422-zqxuu.html
I have around 100 add-ons and this saves me a lot of time when I need to access the preferences for any of them. The only issue I have found so far is with DownThemAll - not all preferences can be accessed via Extensor. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
This is perfect for my needs. Today I installed on my ISP's free web space a tiny no-database blog script (called Dropplets) which uses markdown files to create each post. I've never used markdown before, but this add-on allowed me to create my first post easily without leaving Firefox. I also like the fact that users can change the CSS colors and fonts for the preview panel.
I was wondering why a lot of video sites were giving me "video not found" or notices that I needed to visit the video site to play the video (even though I was already there). After I disabled this add-on I was able to view videos on those sites without any problems. Perhaps a whitelist function might be needed in future releases? It was only after I posted this initial review that I found out there were instruction s on preventing this problem on the add-ons home page. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.10).
A great add-in that does exactly what it is supposed to do. As I get older I find myself straining to read sites with small text, so this is really handy. Being able to switch it on & off via a toolbar button is also a good idea. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
I tried several other addons such as Sage, and this was the easiest to set up & use. Being able to use sub-folders in the Subscribed Feeds section of bookmarks to classify different feeds is what sold this one to me. I just wish the help forum was online as I would like to try some different CSS layouts. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.2).
Just what I was looking for. I had to change a lot of blog posts which had links to a site where part of the domain had changed. This made it so much easier - saved me several hours of time.
Excellent idea! Makes it easy for surfers who are against SOPA to find out which sites they visit are supporting the proposed restrictions on Internet freedom. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
Awesome add-on! I've been looking for something like this for ages as I often have 30 or more tabs open with pictures to be saved. This turns a 5-minute job saving the image in each tab into a 5-second 1-click task. Thanks for such a useful extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8).
It's very easy on the eyes without being bland. Definitely one of the best themes I've come across. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.67).
Fantastic extension. It does exactly what it's supposed in a simple manner. I've already found it useful within a few hours of installing it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
This is a great add-on - especially since the Cricket World Cup is currently in progress. As well as showing scores and other info, clicking on "Full Scorecard" will take you to a web page showing all the details, including commentary.
Definitely two thumbs up for this one.
This is one of the most useful blogging add-ons around. I have blogs with 3 different hosts, and the ability to post to all of them without having to visit the sites is a great timesaver.
To docwhat: you should see an icon that looks like a notepad on your status bar. You set up ScribeFire by clicking on that.
