Screengrab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Screenshot to clipboard of the full site content doesn't work on large pages (e. g. this comment page). On even larger pages screenshot to file also doesn't work anymore. An icon for placing Screengrab to the adress bar is also missing. But apart from that it's very nice.

Useless (for me) Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Testet it some versions ago but the main problems doesn't change: Cannot capture Flash content. Cannot capture Java Applets. If something is drawn, it cannot be changed (only by undoing). The Blur and the Freehand tools are working too slow for me to work fluently (captures the mouse position only 1–2 times per second). An internet connection is mandatory needed (for what?). Nice idea but bad implementation. Never again.

Forget this Add-on. Use CheckPlaces. Works *much* better than this one, is better supported, has more functions, works with FF4 and works great with the other Add-ons of Andy Halford. Not like this one (had many problems with SortPlaces in FF3).

Same problem here. Very nice Add-on but it's the only reason why I need this add-on bar. Because I don't need this bar most of the time I deactivate it with Ctrl+/. It would be nice to have an icon or something else to place this menu into the navi bar.

Not useable for me Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Neither doesn't capture Java Applets nor any kind of Flash content. The Blur and Free Line tools doesn't work fluently on low PCs. On pages like this Add-on-page (ca. 2x display height) the current position of the mouse pointer is synchronized only 2–3 times/second with this tools. The larger the site gets, the worse it gets. On very large sites it will not even work anymore. Deinstalling it – again. Bummer!

Nice functions but I deinstalled it. Used too many ressources on low CPU's (especially with bigger captures and Free Line and Blur function) and all in all it is too buggy right now (previous review).

Gmail S/MIME

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Great update to 0.5.0. No changelog. No infos. And - of course - still no signature verification:
„This version of Gmail S/MIME does not support digital signature verification.“

In the words of Butler James: „Same procedure than every year!“

This Add-on sucks!

Gmail Manager

This Add-on didn't work since four days. The workaround with the mook-version crashed the whole browser. The only way for me was to deactivate this Add-on. Cannot understand why my old comment was deleted (would be nice to get be informed about the reason). Therefore I'm writing this again in the hope that it will not be deleted anymore … :-(

Nice extension. En- & decryption works great. But as long as it can not verify signed messages, it is mostly useless for me. I cannot understand why this feature is apparently not implemented since nearly about 1½ years (look at the older comments from summer 2009!).

Best tray add-on ever! I tried all the other add-ons like „FireTray“, „FireTray“ + „Minimize On Start and Close“ and „MinimizeToTray Plus“. But this one is the only one which have no kind of problems with tray-minimized autostarts of Thunderbird on Ubuntu 10.04. A feature like the shown number of unread messages (like in FireTray) would be really nice, but not mandatory. Also without this feature this add-on is great! Many many thanks! :)
