Tab Mix Plus by onemen, Gary Reyes

Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox's tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager.
Collector's Note Has many, many functions usually found in separate plug-ins. I don't leave the house without it. Specialized features such as, "merge", "reload every 'x' times", "freeze", "duplicate", "rotate through", "undo close", "undo close tabs list", etc. Customizable, remove some functions, no management of any tool-bar, it's All right click.

Flashblock by Philip Chee

Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on...
Collector's Note Great to get rid of excess use of Flash such as advertisements or Flash items that really slow down your machine/browser. Must have in my opinion.

Web Developer by chrispederick

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 216 reviews

The Web Developer extension adds various web developer tools to the browser.
Collector's Note Add-on that allows for many, many features already available using multiple plug-ins. You don't have to be a Web Developer. It still shows you all the behind-the-scenes and under-the-hood views of any website. I cannot emphasize how essential this is.

Xmarks Sync by Xmarks Inc.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 2,514 reviews

312,388 users

Xmarks is the #1 bookmarking and open tab add-on. Keep your bookmarks, and open tabs backed up and synchronized across computers and browsers. Mobile phones with Premium access. Utilize LastPass to sync passwords!
Collector's Note Synchronize all or part of your book-marks anywhere you go or install your own browser. Personalized groups can be created at the Xmarks website so that you ONLY synchronize or use certain parts of your bookmarks or passwords (password synchronization is optional) *Great for having back-ups in-case your browser is accidentally deleted, or you move your FF to a different machine.

United States English Spellchecker for Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey by Kevin Atkinson and Geoff Kuenning.

To enable, right-click in a multi-line text box, select "Languages", then "English (United States)".
Collector's Note Self-intuitive. Don't get caught misspelling words anymore when you most need it on-line, or can add your personalized words to the dictionary (e.g. "LOL")

Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant by Microsoft Corporation

Rated 2 out of 5 stars 123 reviews

2,370,590 users

Adds ClickOnce support and the ability to report installed .NET versions to the web server.
Collector's Note ABSOLUTE necessity if you are running a PC. Sometimes you will be prompted with "You must have Microsoft .NET Framework to access" or "to use on this machine" Add it on now, before your browser crashes due to incompatibility with all things Microsoft (including your OS)

Save Session by norix

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 101 reviews

18,502 users

With Save Session, you can choose to save the current session and close Firefox for the next startup...
Collector's Note Can be used instead of the FF built in session saver. If you choose to use the FF built in session saver anyway... this tool/button will be used only to prompt for session management.

Screengrab by Andy M

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 591 reviews

Screengrab! saves webpages as images... but not for new versions of Firefox.

FF changes too fast and I don't have the time to maintain it anymore. Bugs have developed that I am not in a position to investigate.

Therefore, Screengrab is EOL.
Collector's Note An optional but very nice add-on that allows you to select part of a page, whole window, viewable window or other, and save that selection onto an image that you can download and save. Very handy when trying to print something from the internet but only want it as an image. OR if your favorite site is closing down, select all of your comment history all at once and save it as an image. * Can sometimes crash your browser, so I use it only when I need it, then disable it.

ImageShack right-click by cheesypeanut

Rated 3 out of 5 stars 16 reviews

Upload to ImageShack via the context menu.
Collector's Note * Must have an ImageShack account (Free) Optional toolbar (can be hidden) or shell integrated into the "right-click" of your mouse. Allows you to immediately upload any image with or without tags to your personal ImageShack account. If an image is hidden, use your "Web Developer" tool to expose the image.
