Good; but… Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Pretty good at what it does, but can't handle the oddball situations where I need (for example) 168% zoom to properly fit what I'm doing.

The “zoom-to-fit” options are nice; although I haven't yet found a situation where what the software thought it should try to make fit was the same thing that I wanted it to fit to the screen, but I'm sure there will be times when having the software make the choices will be exactly what I want; but that certainly won't be all the time.

Currently I've gone for a Custom Zoom list of:
30-40-50-60-67-70-75-80-85-90-95-100-105-110-115-120-125-130-133-140-150-160-168-170-180-190-200-240-250-300
which will cover many of the options I'm commonly looking for, but is such a long list that it actually doesn't fit on the screen and I'll need to truncate it accordingly.

What the program really needs IMO is a one-off “Custom” option, between the long list of custom or preset zoom options and the ↔ and ☼ ► D/X, F/X, D/S, F/S choices. Prompt for a numeric 5%–400% entry and one-time that zoom level. (i.e.: 30 - 50 - 75 - 100 - 125 - 150 - 200 - 300 - Custom - ↔ - ☼ ). Also, a Ctrl-Click/Ctrl-Shift-Click on the +/- to zoom by ±1/±10 (regardless of the zoom levels setting) would make it much easier to hone in on the precise desired zoom level in particular situations.

That one addition will make it what "I" need. Without some kind of support for non-standard zooming here, there are doubtless other products that are more appropriate for me. But seems like a good product with loads of other useful options.

Thanks for suggestions .....

Thanks for the suggestions regarding a one-off custom zoom menu item and modified clicks on the +/- buttons to zoom by ±1%/±10%. These will be considered for a future version.

When Firefox starts, I have it set so it shows my windows and tabs from last time. The problem I’m having is that whenever I open Firefox, the first tab (on the farthest left) never zooms (fit-to-width) despite all the other tabs zooming just fine. It’s not a huge bug, but it’s a bit irritating to always have to copy the link from the first tab into a new tab to get the zoom to work correctly.

Edit: I've figured out a temporary fix, and that's to just leave an empty new tab page on the far left.

Edit2: 10.5 still hasn't fixed it for me. In the meantime, I'll just keep using that empty tab while I wait for a fix. Thanks.

Hi! I love your plugin, but doesn't matter which configuration I use, I can't zoom in images. I use to read a lot of mangas online, in earlier versions of your plugin I could zoom in everything in the tab, now just text that zooms, like I said, I tried every configuration possible.
I use firefox 29 for Linux.

Switching between Full Page and Text Only zoom

Normally, Zoom Page uses 'Full Page' zoom which zooms everything on the web page (text and graphics).

It sounds like you have accidentally switched into 'Text Only' zoom. You can switch between 'Text Only' zoom and 'Full Page' zoom by right-clicking on the percentage display or by using the Ctrl+; (semi-colon) keyboard shortcut.

Zoom Page: a absolute must-have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Zoom Page has returned sanity back to my web page view experience. My monitor is a 4:3 ratio 17" Chuntex CTX PL-7 and I set it to 1024x768. Whithout out Zoom Page I would frequently have to mouse scroll left/right to view some web pages. Setting my crt to a higher resolution was not the answer as everything on the page became to small to read, so then I'd have to fiddle with FF's built-in 'zoom' feature. Zoom Page allows a '1-click' fit-to-width. Exactly what I needed.
Thank you for this excellent add-on,

Zoom Page provided the zooming functionality I had hoped for but ...

FireFox was regularly exceeding 3 GB RAM usage and slowing to a crawl - I had to close and restart FF every few hours because of this. I finally got around to tracking down which of my extensions was causing this.

Disabled Zoom Page 10.1 and the problem went away. I've had FF running for the past 48 hours now without a recurrance of the problem.

Great, at first Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wanted Opera-ish fit-to-width, so i picked that in options menu. Worked just fine but a few minutes later it... lost its mind. Now when i "CTRL + [" it just displays a very small square window that cycles between F/S and D/S], but does nothing else.
Because it started fine i must assume it's a bug. [I'm running Cyberfox 28 on Windows 7.]

A day later: now it works. Was it me or it? Anyway, now it works, it's worth 5 stars. [Still think maker could usefully break up that one loooong explanation page into paragraphs tho...]

Works but not what I need. Want to zoom width alone, without zooming fonts.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (10.0).

Not really a zoom requirement

This is not really a zoom requirement. It would require changing the web page width and doing an unrestricted text re-flow, which is an interesting idea, but not something Zoom Page is designed to do.

Hi the addon is pretty good but how can i disable the "click" Image Zoom stretch feature?, it is making interference with another addon i have(Image Zoom) i tried with the "image zoom mode" to "default" but it still resizes the image when i do left click on them and your addon is ignoring the "browser.enable_click_image_resizing" preference set to false of firefox.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.1).

Fixed in Version 10.0

Because of the way Zoom Page works, the "browser.enable_click_image_resizing" preference has to be disabled.

An option to disable the "click-on-image" feature has been added in Version 10.0.

this works well. No more wasted white space and tiny, tiny fonts on YT comments. You could think of an easier to remember name though. Zoom page is pretty generic.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.1).

What do you suggest?

Zoom Page started off as a much simpler page zoom add-on and grew to include automatic zooming, site-specific zooming, fit-to-width zooming and image zooming.

An easy to remember and more distinctive name is a good idea, but thinking of a name that is both short and descriptive is difficult - what do you suggest?

Zoom Page 9.1 affects bookmark toolbar, Response Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Okay. I just noticed for some strange reason the update that occurred today was to 9.0 but 9.1 is here. So I will try to see if it will update to 9.1 and fix the problem.

Thanks!
