YouTube NoBS is a Firefox Add-on to redirect all YouTube video links to use piped.video - an open-source alternative frontend for YouTube which is efficient by design.

On Android I recommend using NewPipe.

YouTube NoBS automatically plays videos in fullscreen, removing distracting YouTube UI elements and preventing the AutoPlay of the next “recommended” video. As a consequence, this also bypasses YouTube Age Restrictions and YouTube Advertising.

You may need to allow autoplay for piped.video. For instructions, visit https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay
