The only reason so far I have is because this freaking Yomichan cannot read links or even what's written in a search bar. You're forced to copy and paste the text somewhere else just so the addon reads it, that's awful. Rikaichan could read basically any 'surface'. At least Yomichan is using the Jim Breen dictionary or it would be even worse.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13447549, 6 years agoIt works fine. It's a little "noisier" than Rikaichan, with pretty big reading bubbles, and bizarrely defaults to using the middle button (i.e., the "new tab" button) for lookup.
The big, big, big, big, BIG problem is that it does not seem to work on webmail (Gmail). Without that, it barely even begins to replace Rikaichan.
