posted 2 years agoThanks for the feedback! To answer your questions:
1. You can change the number of columns in settings under "Max Columns"
2. This was by design, which is meant to be minimalist
3. You can open dials in background tabs by middle-clicking them
You can also follow YASD development on its github page: https://github.com/conceptualspace/yet-another-speed-dial

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15938099, 6 days agoI love this Speed Dial.
The ONE thing that would make it totally perfect for me would be for the tab names not to say "Speed Dial" but to pick up the name I have assigned to that particular one.
When there are many tabs open, it isn't possible to tell one from the other since they all say "Speed Dial" - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18129516, a month agoThe best speed dial addon. Stylish and easy to use, at the same time protecting my privacy. This is the open source power.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Staubkappe, 4 months agoVery clean and easy to use. 5 stars if you would add the option for a search bar above the tabs.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18005021, 9 months agoEnjoy the simplicity. Would like to be able to group the thumbnails in a logical order instead of the time added sorting.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Flgurant, 10 months agoNo possibility to change the time format from 12h to 24h. Apart from this I'm happy with this extension.
- Rated 3 out of 5by sudo, a year agoGreat extension, except it really really needs an option to resize the dials. Once that is implemented, I will update the rating to 5.

- Rated 4 out of 5by ffsb, a year agoExcellent.
The only inconvenience is that when I click on a Dial in Home and it becomes a drag and drop, the Dial goes to another folder! - Rated 5 out of 5by Maxim, a year agoGreat addition! But there is no way to open active links in new browser tabs - is it possible to add? The middle mouse button is uncomfortable.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 10637656, a year agoThis is my replacement for "FVD-SpeedDial" and "LiveStartPage". And I had a lot more...
All of them are way to overloaded and to complicated.
But with this SpeedDial here, thankfully everything works so easy! And looks great!
Background colour or picture. New SpeedDial, Thumbnails for SpeedDials, new folders.
Fastest and easiest backup function I have ever seen, import export.
Now this is my most important Firefox AddOn!
Questions:
- Opportunity to change the name of the main folder "Home" ?
- A different color for the active folder? Or bigger difference?Developer response
