don't waste your time waiting for an update. There is a good alternative - "Context Search X" ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/context-search-x ). With it I could repeat the behavior of YACS. Though it took me 3 minutes to do it. The settings are: 1) choose google engine - click button "context menu" and uncheck everything 2) in the bottom "current tab" - uncheck everything 3) in the bottom "foreground tab" - check "left click" 4) in the bottom "other options" - check "enable default engine", "hide standard context item", "show icons".
This is the only context search workin for me, but it has an annoying bug: it does not work on click release. 1 - highlight a text 2 - right click 3 - click (do not release) on any item (e.g. an engine) 4 - release click on another engine 5 - nothing happens. I expect the engine under the click release to open.
I've been looking for an addon to replace Context Search 0.4.6 and your addon works great. I just have one small request. Could you add access key shortcuts to the search engines. This would allow me to search, for example, google by highlighting the search word, right-clinking it, pressing 's', and then pressing 'g'. It's the only missing feature of Context Search 0.4.6.
