'Yahoo! Mail: Request Timeout' bug? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Seeing this behavior on Ubuntu 10.04 w/ Firefox 5. Not sure when this started(?) but now after logging into my yahoo mail account and after 'Yahoo! Mail Watcher' first auto checks for new mail, it is timing out AND _not_ detecting new mail. I'm seeing this behavior with v1.40, v1.41, _and_ v1.42 on my Linux machines all running Firefox 5. Also. A mouse cursor hover over the 'Yahoo Mail! Watcher' icon in the Firefox Toolbar the popup always displays: 'Yahoo Mail: Request Timeout'.Also note that on a Win7 machine with Firefox 5 and Yahoo! Mail Watcher installed (tested both v1.41 and v1.42) this is NOT an issue! Thanks!.
UPDATE Aug 07, 2011
I was wrong. This is not an issue specific to Firefox on Linux. The 'Yahoo! Mail: Request Timeout' issue is caused by a recent update of another extension, 'HTTPS Everywhere' 1.0.0 (https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere). Once 'Yahoo! Mail' is _disabled_ in the latest 'HTTPS Everywhere' preferences, Yahoo! Mail Watcher's check function works as expected and without errors. -------
To answer your question: en-us, en-us, 'New' Yahoo! Mail. ------ Thanks!
I will see it. Please tell me more about your setting - Language of Firefox, Language of Yahoo, Version of Yahoo (Classic, new, beta).
Update: Thank you. Yahoo Mail don't support HTTPS
