For another time, Yahoo! Mail Notifier works perfectly after regular tests. Thanks for another time Michael. FYI, I use FF 24.1.1 ESR edition and my OS is WinXP SP2. NoScript is one of my "protectors".
Finally stopped alerting me of new mail when there was none. But, now it doesn't do the pop-up alerts anymore or show that I have new mail on the icon.
its still telling me I have 1 new email when I have none, really annoying, deleted all the cookies, no joy:(
Really nice, when it worked. However despite saying the issues are fixed, 1.0.7 still does not function (won't check, no new mail showen, etc.) on both Mac and PC.
Try the pending 220.127.116.11 update. If it doesn't work, click the "alternate checking method" in the options. If it still doesn't work. Go to yahoo.com and sign out, then right click on the page and choose "View Page Info" and then go to the Security tab and click view cookies. Click "Remove All Cookies".
Sorry to say - 1.07 still not working with Firefox 25.0.1. Says not Logged in. Right Click, menu vanishes. When I dbl click, it finally Logs-in, but shows Zero mail. Windows 7 Ultimate. If you want, I can beta test another version? Thanks.
The issue with the lack of notifications was fixed on my browser with this update, it's working fine again, at least for me. Thanks for your prompt attention, I'm glad I waited.
I'm having the same problem. Version 1.0.7 did not correct it.
Installed new version still does not show mail count correctly
Muy ágil y configurable!
In seamonkey 2.15.2, the icon does not appear.
Older versions had issues with SeaMonkey.
it is actually nice BTW
Could use an option to turn off log in failures that pop up on screen. Lets me know it tried to log in 3 times and failed. Otherwise, not bad at all.
I have multiple Yahoo Accounts, so it would be helpful if this program could be made to check multiple accounts.
I really don't know why I didn't search for such an add-on until now. It's just want I wanted.
Great addon, I use it for many years but i would like some more features like:
a) blinking when i have new email
b) make it check for new email some seconds later at firefox start. (I know about the dont check at start option but its not exactly the same)
This is an excellent add-on and it only seems to have stopped working properly since Yahoo switched to the new mail version. How many people have been using this for years and only decided to rate it (poorly) now because it's temporarily broken?
Great add-on, keep up the good work!
The link the author has posted has an extra character, which is why the Mozilla says it can't find the page you're looking for. Just remove the ) from the end of the link in the address bar:
It doesn't work on FF7, no notifications just says I have no mail all the time.
heh, thought I lost you, buddy. been days since my mail worked right.
The new yahoo is to blame, I'm sure of it. they removed tons of useful stuff.
most links to the update didn't work for me, but this one from CHW did:
this has always been one of the most practical add-ons I ever found. I use it all day long.
thank you for keeping it up-to-date. you really deserve the 5 bucks, dude.
Yahoo! Mail Notifier 1.0.1
It's working for ff 3.6~
thank you very much !
Thanx for the quick fix! Works great!
Merci au développeur de proposer une réponse rapide avec une nouvelle version de ce très utile module.
Thanks to the developer to offer a quick answer with a new version of this very useful add-on.
worked fine before, but fails to connect since a few days
was working and has many features but now its stopped!!! get a message when i hover over the envelope on the bar inside firefox.................failed to connect to yahoos servers while checking for mail. Has yahoo servers changed to render this useless now?
