Cunning manipulation of public opinion. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Everyone who use this plugin use it because they believe that this plugin is showing red and yellow circles for the websites that are really dangerous. Unfortunately, there are many websites that are falsely marked red and yellow and are completely safe for browsing. The above name of this plugin "WOT - Safe Surfing" is simply not true as this plugin has nothing to do with safety or anything related. Developers of this plugin keep repeating that if people feel the website is falsely rated they can login and rate it positively. This is yet another lie as people who never visited those websites before can't visit them because they're too scared of those red and yellow circles and warnings about phishing, hacking, scam and whatnot. These appear on completely regular and fully safe websites. We should all uninstall this plugin and ignore WOT and their community of spammers for good. And we will win. Their traffic is significantly dropping it's working, we just need to stick together.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (20120515).

Our reputations tell you how much people trust websites, not only if they are safe to visit. According to our data, people do rate poorly rated sites if they feel the reputation is undeserved.

It very much sounds like you are the owner of a certain conspiracy theory website that has a poor reputation. If you feel your site has been rated unfairly, here's what you can do:

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to help if people really do not trust your site.
