Seriously, this add-on is worth 6 stars!!!

Youtube is now useable again: I can use space bar to stop and play, and the videos are cached properly so I can skip behind or ahead with no problem, or even replay at any point without having to download bits and pieces of the video again like with stupid html 5.

A No.1 add-on for regular Youtube users!!!

This is a MUST-have add-on for people that want to download videos & other things, because the only reason that HTML5 was invented was to PREVENT you from downloading videos & other things. Jerks.

Workaround Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works as it should. However sites would often give you webm instead of h.264 when they see FF, no matter if you have this add-on. Changing user agent can fix that.

While I highly support this to fight the Mozilla team’s false flag support for the media Mafia, it will go very wrong when someone uses (X)HTML5 video tags for something else than a media player. Like for example with overlays, post-processing, and truly embedded with SVG etc.
So this is a temporary workaround, unless Mozilla comes to its senses.
PROTIP: If you don’t use a piece of software/information because of a “copyright”/“patent”/“trademark”/“IP” claim, then they STILL won, and you are STILL acknowledging the “IP” lie, and hence are still supporting the organized crime, which in my eyes makes you a criminal too. The only right way is to NEVER let anyone blackmail you into obeying their lies and delusions PERIOD. Of which installing this plug-in is a small but good part. :)

An interesting glitch that I found in Linux is that some videos on Youtube will accidentally play as Html5. I thought that was hilarious, however it doesn't happen always. However if that glitch could be assessed, it would become an awesome addon feature in itself.

Please disable the auto playing of the default Youtube html5 player while your addon is in effect. It causes both the default and Wildfox to play at the same time. Addon works with both Gecko Mediaplayer and Xine. :)
