Don't like the sound with notifications on Mac?
Turn it off in System Preferences > Notifications > Firefox (on the left pane) > uncheck Play sound for notifications (on the right pane).
Context menu option
The addon also adds a context menu option (available when you right-click inside a Firefox page) to find out what song is playing at the moment. You can turn this option off in the add-on's preferences.
Not Seeing Notifications?
Make sure Notification Center notifications are not silenced, especially if you use external displays on a Mac. If this does not fix it, please let me know here: http://github.com/nishanths/what-s-playing/issues/.
