This is a great add-on. The two problems that greatly detract from the appeal, however, is that many times when i go to click and open it, no response. The chronicle doesn't open ! And the second is sometimes when i click on it and i have a large history, it takes a very long time to load. A lot of the time it's easier to use the history menu, unfortunately. Otherwise, it's a great add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).

Nice idea which instantly appealed to me.
BUT it listed every visit to Google Reader with a different unread total as a separate item, thus completely filling recent activity and most visited with dozens of almost identical items. Had a similar problem with frequent visits to the firefox add-ons recently updated pages.

The extension lives up to its promise. It accelerates finding an already visited web page.

A time saver! At last I can find what I want in my history! Before, I used to spend so much time re-opening history links... to generally give up. Thank you!
Now that I've used it for a while, there are some details...
Chronicle: Search should be set to 'today' and not 'all time' by default. I've clicked search by mistake several time and it takes ages with 'all time', even crashed.
Graph: HTML Report should have a better layout for printing. For now only indents are visible and the information overflows the page limit.

With this extension you can easily navigate your firefox history. I have at times opened my history and had difficulty finding the old site that i was looking for. This solves that problem ! this gives great and accurate search capabilities for browsing history. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
Very useful in the long run Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I find WebReview very interesting and I have it installed in my browser since its early days. What I find especially interesting is Chronicle which does what certainly every web user wants from Firefox: An advanced search in his/her history. How often do you look for a site that you have visited before but just cannot remember its name? For me this happens regularly and therefore I am glad that Chronicle records my every move and enables me to retrack my steps. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.10).
Adds good lacking native functionalities for Firefox Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I liked the project very much, I've been using it today, and despite
some design things that could be better (like the tree display when
there's no sessions history for the current page), I found the
history/sessions form and start page very interesting.
The "top visited" sites page looks very useful, something like the
speed dial or history viewer for Opera, Safari and Chrome.
There's good documentation/help also, which is pretty important for a project like this.

Wow. A great potential that currently no developers look at is the ability to enhance the user experience of history by using a locally stored database w.o the interaction with 3rd party server.
It is a pain to dig out something back by simply using the history of firefox.
Hope this great addon can have some improvement in the user interface and finally get out from the sandbox.
Helpful when searching for past pages Rated 4 out of 5 stars
WebReview adds some new useful features to Firefox that are essentially focused on retrieving past pages.
WebReview really facilitates the search for past pages thanks to "WebReview Chronicle". In "WebReview Chronicle", past pages are better organized than in Firefox's basic history. It is very helpful to be able to perform more expressive requests on past pages with time parameters and domain constraints, since in most cases we remember pretty much when the page we search for was visited.
In MyStart, the section "proposals for today" makes pretty good suggestions, and I really think I will use MyStart's recommendations as a shortcut to visited pages.
It is also interesting to see one's own navigation graph in "WebReview Graph", but I am not sure if I will use it much to retrieve past pages that went out of the "back-forward" chains.
- Would it be possible to add Web research engines like Google to MyStart so that it can really be used as a start page ?
- It would be interesting if MyStart could suggest to add recommended pages to Firefox bookmarks, so that these pages get even more easy to access.
- MyStart's visual styles are very simple and quite ugly :), which made me hesitate a bit before I set it as my start page.
- Several pages from the same domain are suggested together in the same category in MyStart. It wastes some free place for other suggestions. Could suggestions be groupped by domains ?
