Why was WCAG Contrast checker created?
The idea of this extension came after having to make accessibility audits and consulting on multiple websites. Analyzing the contrast, especially for WCAG 2, I saw it was necessary to validate the contrast of all elements of the page, so the first step was to show validation quickly in the browser.
What's next for WCAG Contrast checker
I have in mind to add functionality to the extent that contrasts review of all elements, including the contents of the images. The idea is build something similar to a heat map which show areas where there could be problems of contrast.
