I just stopped by to give my cudos for you resolving the MP4 problem with youtube. this is once again my favorite plugin.

Also, could there be an option for having downloads go to create a folder named after the youtube channel (when bulk downloading from a channel?)...

i don't know what happened...
i disabled the extension for a moment, now that I've re-enabled it, it is now back to downloading duplicate files when downloading from youtube using the "Download videos from youtube link(s)" context menu item. I have to now cancel the duplicate download jobs once they've started, can be quite a hassle at times. I thought that this issue was fixed. Anyways, if there is something that I'm doing wrong, or a setting I need to change, please let me know someone. Much thanks, Oz

this is one of my favorite plugins... i have just one suggestion: could you possibly add to the Youtube quick menu (right-click) option, "Download videos from Youtube link(s)" to other sites (like Dailymotion)?

And maybe call change it to something like "Download videos from link(s) using VDH" or something like that?

It is just that I like to go to video sites like youtube and dailymotion and download multiple videos from a user's channel.

Your consideration is appreciated.

Actually, Marko... you can disable the youtube widget, from within the preferences. This plugin is probably my favorite of all plugins. The one suggestion I would have is that it one day is able to preserve the Youtube video names when downloading with Flashgot, instead of using "video.flv", like it does with firefox's native downloader.

this recent release has now provided the ability to do something I've been searching for for a while now: the ability to download all the videos from a youtube channel. Now I just select the ones I want. Hopefully, in the future, there may me more features in place that streamlines this work, not only for youtube but for other sites also (like dailymotion, revver, etc.). Much thanx for this update!

I really like this extension. It is one of my favorites (downloading streaming content from almost any site, and the cool database of video sites.) However there are some suggestions that I have:

1) Very important: The option to download hi-res flv and mpeg-4 h.264 formats, like this greasemonkey script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/13333)

2) Make a separate database of streaming audio/music/audio book sites (like last.fm, Anywhere.fm, Batanga, deezer.com, iLike, imeem, Jamendo, MOG, Musicovery, Pandora, Playlist.com, Slacker, SpiralFrog, Zune Social).
