As far as I could see, the new interface is more JavaScript oriented. Video links on the new channel design are javascript links. Most importantly, when the video loads on this new channel type, Downloadhelper does NOT detect the HQ18 links or the HQ22 links. For now, it is still possible to redirect to the old Youtube video page, but I fear that once Youtube is done beta testing, they will force this new channel design on every user just like Facebook did. Once that happens we may never be able to download videos from Youtube the way we want, if we will be able to download anything at all.

Hallo,an die Menschen die das Add-on Download Helper geschrieben haben,euer Ding ist so richtig schön einfach,was für Leute wie mich die mit Computern nicht so iel im Sinn haben eine hervorragende Sache ist.Zwei Klicks und eine gewisse Wartezeit und man hat das Video oder was sonst auf seinem Computer.Zuden anderen Funktionen in eurem Add-on kann ich leider nicht soviel sagen da ich sie kaum bis garnicht nutze,den noch möchte ich auf euer Add-on nicht unbedingt verzichten.Auf jeden Fall kann man es nur weiter empfehlen habe ich auch schon gemacht,werde es auch weiter machen. Simple but effective; easy to use. What other applications and add-ons should be but seldom are.

Video DownloadHelper is a very good Add-on, it gell right well with Mozilla Firefox, having the almost perfectly ergonomic way of operation to download a hell load of videos from thousands of websites. I was not disappointed with this web-app!
Only thing that's left with this is how to select a batch of hyperlinks of videos altogether and try to download them.

I've been having a hell of a time wondering why my Youtube been laagin/stuttering and not even loading. Finally found out that Video DownloadHelper is the reason behind this. Using Firefox 3.5beta4. Does the same thing with my Firefox 3.0.6 under Windows 7.

This Add-on works and continues to do its job as promised from day one. I uninstalled all other video downloader. To me, firefox is not complete without this Add-on

this has to be one of my favourite add-on for FireFox but this latest update (4.4.1) seems to freeze my web browser every time I try and use it which is driving me mad here me hoping for the next update

Realmente me facilita mucho la tarea de descarga. Es muy práctico.

Used to work great but now when I go to Youtube, I can't add to my playlist or flag content (not that I was going to, just testing my options). I also often can't get the video to play in the browser there although I can still download the video. Additionally, I often see source code instead of the webpage. These things only seem to happen at Youtube. I have disabled the add-on and everything works normally now. But I sure miss this add-on!

- The Support Team jumped right on working with me to fix the issue. WAY above and beyond and a lot of attention was given me to fix the issue. Things fell apart on my end but through no fault of the support team. I am sure my problem will be resolved one way or another. This is the best addon out there and absolutely my favorite...

It is a very useful addon in some cases as Youtube

but in other cases it does not suit

I don't understand why in many cases as the download link is rightly in the source code, VDH do not give it

I must open the source code of ythe page then make a search about flv the copy and paste to get the download

This is a VERY helpful add-on. I use it almost everyday for editing & capturing videos. What I love about it is how fast it downloads a video. If your a huge video editor I recommend it to all. You'll find yourself saving a whole lot of time when regularly, you'd just be sitting there waiting for your download to finish. Thank you for this add-on!
