This add-on is a complete peace of crap first why would I want to down load videos From "adult sites" I have a site for that it's called skin video hd ,pics ,videos down-loadable as a real format not flv only and no download limits either ! second It dose not even download any of the " movie sites" unlike my realplayer extension dose ! i SAY IF IT IS FREE ITS CRAP IF YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT YOU KNOW IT WILL WORK ! MOST OF THE TIME FROM HONEST COMPANY'S ! -10 OUT OF 10 !

Hi, it seems that it can work on 3.5.3 but i can only download a video only one time just before the video is not fully downloaded on the site...

After the video is visible on a site, downloader is not able to have it...

Downloader is in grey color, not with 3colors that we can see when downloading is available.

I don't know what's happen but before this release it was working better...

Sorry for my previous post. When I restarted my computer I could install the extension. I don't know what happened before, but it showed a message telling me that it was not compatible with ff 3.5.3.

Indispensable -- though if you're capturing several flvs which happen to have the same name, such as "video.flv", there's no way to tell which in the list is the newest one. Hint: the new ones appear at the bottom of the list, not the top.

Very Nice, OrbitDownloader's Grab++ Tool is some how more compatible, since it fills couple of more header related Vartibles (such as the page directed from, and custom userAgent).

I have been very happy using this addon for the past few months. But i would be happier if you add "Open url in new tab" feature so that I can use my download accelerator.

This really is a credit to all things Firefox, working seamlessly & without any (great) hiccups, I'd say there's almost nothing better for YouTube - even captcha's HD streams without you needing to play it! It's well updated & supports the vast majority of the sites your likely to visit, the smart naming is a useful addition too, it's definetely one of the better Mozilla addons you can find.

this is the best dowloader out there... i do not use any other i have tried but this one is the best i give it a thumbs up. the only think is i cannot use the converter :(

This is a usefull Ad on, It pick's up most things.Brill for downloading film's an video's an the real cool thing is you can convert to what ever format while downloading,the only con i found was can't convert to mp3,an it took me a little while to work out how to convert other formats without paying.

If anyone has this problem, Right click on the ballowns an hit prefrances, thats at the top,an go to convershion's an if i remember right, it said somthing like find a converter or i need one? was a while ago so sorry but if you click on whatever it says were i just said to go, then it comes back saying you now have what it needed to be able to convert..You are then left with regeristing it wich cost's an i have not done as the only pro's are, you don't see the very small balloown water mark in the corner of your download.s an you can also convert to MP3, wich i have more than one program or add on to do that if need be!

Over all i like this for downloading, if i need to convert also an it picks up most stuff,an its real simple to use con,s for me i find some of the other stuff it can do, very confusing an don't really understand it, but im sure for those who do, then its great! Because some stuff on this is confusing an don't really explain what its for or how to use it, Im taking away a star but for a simple downloader with converter if needed, its a very usefull!

PROS: This is a must have for anyone wanting to save images, videos and audio from websites. It works flawlessly and easily after setting it's options to your individual liking.

CONS: Leave the conversion option unchecked unless you wish to pay for it's use.

NOTES: The conversion process is better left handled by a users own third party conversion software after this program does the snag and download process for you. A lot of the time, the downloaded file format that the program grabs from web sites for you (ie: flv, mpeg, flac, ogg, rm etc.) are sufficient for use without conversion as most of today's quality media programs are compatible with all file formats. Looking for one?
The FREE K-Lite Mega Codec pack, that includes the Media Player Classic Home Cinema program, is highly recommended in regards to a multi-format capable player with superb quality that is very user friendly and FREE of charge! =")

ONE FINAL NOTE:
Leave the storage directory setting in options blank if you wish for the program to ask you where to store each file you download. This is helpful if you prefer to organize your files during the download process rather than afterward. Such as a large music library etc. Having to organize a huge mess of files in one directory at a later time is never fun or consistent with any project. A personal but useful preference.

This is a very nice add-on to download most media files from what appears to be every sight! It is awesome.

This has been the best add on i have tried, it works as described, all recordable media, in full form, if you can record streamed protected media it would be perfect, but i suppose that's illegal?

I love this program. Its simple to use and have used quite a lot. Its also pretty self-explanatory and has worked for me without glitches.
