Download helper rocks! I highly recommend it. The program has a ton of options, and snags all kinds of videos for you.

Saves right to .flv format, and options allow for configuration of folders and such. Can't say enough good things about it!

Useful; it used to be fantastic but now it solicits paid registration often, for example for the main thing I used it for, converting youtube videos to mp3's.

It works great for a while. Then it stops and wants you to "register", which happens to cost $28.50.

Great add-on. Has really been useful in downloading multimedia for various video projects.

FANTASTIC Video capture. NOTHING else ID's as many and can handle as many online videos.

Only wish it came bundled a video convertor as I'm not sure which one to get and where (I'm sure I'm not the only one). But then let people replace it if desired.

There is a bug with the History feature (that is still in beta). Used to work a lot better in earlier versions keeping track of all videos played. Now seems to miss most of them

When Orbit downloader stops working or refuses to download certain sites, "DownloadHelper" still works great for me. I used to prefer Orbit but it has been giving me trouble lately from downloading from certain websites.

great add-on....the best for downloading videos....definately worth ...times are hard now but will donate as soon as things get better for me....fantastic tool

That page states "Starting on June 23rd 2008, we do not offer support anymore on the DownloadHelper extension."

RE 4.6.4 (Firefox 3.5.3, Win XP Pro) and Downloadhelper now insists on opening it's update page every time I start Firefox. despite what the description states. I can't contact support since the developer discontinued it. No FAQs seem to apply. It also will not save options. Uninstalling and reinstalling 4.6.2 resolves this issue. It also won't save options although all my other addons will save theirs.

If there is a protected file by error, I can not find it. No help exists as to debugging such a problem.

The very low rating is because there is no way I can find to resolve this.

After all other resources, including save2PC stopped working, THIS app conveniently let me do exactly what I wanted to - so easily. A great product. Support it if you can - IT'S WORTH IT!

i am very pleased i found this add on as it makes downloading straight to mp4 a doddle i am just sorry i cannot make a donation otherwise it would be there like a shot. the updates come at just the right time 100 downloads and not a hitch thanks Mig top add on.
