Never get frustrated by glitchy streaming video again - just download it all and watch at your leisure! If I wasn't a student living well below the poverty line I would donate some cash to these guys - well done gents and a heartfelt thank you!

Con's: Installs Trojan.Goldun, which isn't particularly harmful Trojan and a small price to pay for this great product.

What trojan ? There's no trojan in Video DownloadHelper !
If there is a trojan in a product, as harmless as it may look, don't install the product ! But again, there's no such thing in DownloadHelper.
Edit (Nov 26): I have no doubt you found this trojan on your computer as you could name it. But it is extremely unlikely to be due to DownloadHelper. Of course, no one else reported this issue. Flash does not work well in Llinux and when loading multiple tabs it brings the system down. DownloadHelper definitely has solved the problem of managing my downloads and giving much more flexibility in terms of resource management on my own system. Thanks very much. Let's hope they don't sell out, but that is wishful thinking.

Rated 4 out of 5by gscampb, 9 years agoQuand flash marchait très mal sur ma machine, ça m'a permis de quand même regarder les vidéos Youtube ou Dailymotion en léger différé.
Maintenant que l'habitude est prise, c'est plus pratique à utiliser, la pub ne m'empêche pas de rebasculer du plein écran et au fenêtré, si il y a du monde, pas d'arrêt pour mise en mémoire tampon, etc.

This is wrong. When you don't convert the videos (the default case), we have no way to add any logo to the downloaded videos. This is simply technically not possible.
