Video DownloadHelper is great for capturing various media from within websites.

This add-on is great! I was able to save videos i my computer and watch them later! Great feature!!!

I can't afford to donate at the moment but I just want to give kudos to the developers of this add-on. My friend recommended this add-on and I'm glad I checked it out. It's so easy to use and it can download pretty much anything! Thanks!

Brutal!!!!

Pros
- Very user friendly
- Extremely useful when downloading most Flash/image files
- Works for most Flash video sites

Cons
- Sometimes catches advertisements when trying to download certain videos
- Cannot read Flash videos from certain sites (Yahoo Music)

Overall - I love this application! Possibly one of if not the best FF video download apps. While there are some minor cons, this is an excellent app! Highly recommended....

This add-on is fantastic. I've never had it not recognize a video on a site. Options for standard, high quality and even High Definition. Only thing I wish is that I could download entire albums or something off a site like myspace and facebook and such. 5 Stars!

I was using this, it works fine, but i don't like this :"Video DownloadHelper source code is the sole property of its author"
Using GPL whould be better ! I need some things which don't exist !

I already use this program it work because my office block youtube's download, so when I use this program it make me download all of clip that I want.

Best program ever, it's saved me so much time! (I used to use keepvid to download videos one by one).

Does anybody know if it's possible to choose for yourself how many files to download simultaneously? Right now, it seems like all or nothing (well actually one by one downloads).

I don't use this for videos, but the other uses this add-on provides are invaluable. Thanks for this great add-on. Keep up the good work.

Where have you been all my life?

This makes downloading videos easier than I ever imagined.

This is one of the best add-ons that I have come across for Firefox. Easy to use and understand. I realize that it doesnt do all that people want, but it does a lot.

I hope you guys can modify Downloadhelper to make it work on the new site Vevo.

There are music videos on youtube now being pulled over from Vevo. Actually quite a bit of them are now from Vevo. This add-on does not allow you to download these videos.When I attempt to save the file absolutely nothing happens. It does work on non-Vevo videos though. Will there be a fix so that Vevo videos can be saved? I hope so because I hear most of the record studios are all switching to Vevo.

I'm really sad to give up this add-on. It has been so useful for so long. If I load it I can no longer switch videos in YouTube without a delay of 30 seconds to several minutes. Uninstalling it solves the problem instantly. The problem is consistent. Where can I download an older version or does anyone know of a fix?
It's not fair for me to rate it as it was five stars and now it merits few.

I have used Download helper for sometime now and I must confirm that it is one of the best online video downloaders.I encourage people to donate towards the developers of this wonderful software.
