It competes with HandyTab. The data of HandyTab has disappeared when updating Video DownloadHelper.

Just downloaded my 100th video! This add on is awesome! It's the best video download app that I've ever had and I really appreciate it^^ Without it I would have never been able to get the videos that I've been wanting for months. Thank you very much!!!!! I

Dumb add-on, even from Youtube it doesn't download from the cache, it downloads everything again, even when the file is already complete in the browser cache.

VIDEO DOWNLOAD HELPER is nagware. A logo appears on the upper corner of every downloaded videoclip unless you register (and pay). While this may be correct for converted videos, it is IMHO absolutely wrong for unconverted downloads. The logo fixed size covers a big part of small videos; too bad as it would be otherwise a convenient add-on.

This add-on is great, however, when you try to view another video on YouTube, you get "Application/Octet Stream". It seems Google doesn't want you to use this add-on to steal copyrighted videos.

At First the system was working great, now it seems to be stalled. I will check into it hopefully it is just a small error.

This worked now and then, when it wanted to. Frequently, it would download and say it converted to .wmv . . . and, a .wmv file would appear in the My Videos folder . . . only to find out later that there was nothing there! I was pulling out my hair for HOURS trying to figure out why my Sony Walkman MP3 wasn't recognizing the files: no content!

After a day of trying, I was able to get only 2 (count 'em) .flv videos converted to .wmv and onto my MP3 player. Ludicrous!

This software is not worth the time or effort. Avoid!

I was just looking for a simple .flv downloader....I WAS NOT expecting the search option. let's just say Download Helper's "extensive" site index has kept me busy.

One of the best helpers around for Firefox. I couldn't get along without it! If you need to download videos as an aid in personnel training, to post on your blog or webpage, or just for your own entertainment, Video DownloadHelper is all you need to get the job done!

Great add-on. My only questions involve the converter which uses a third party application. Following is a section of the copyright for the converter. I wanted to know if they take this seriously.
