La verdad es un complemento pequeño y facil de usar, tan util para descargar como para convertir videos , es uno de los pocos programas que puedo reconocer como buenos y utiles , apesar de estar en desarrollo me parece un exelente trabajo asi que animate y se uno mas de los usuarios de este exelente complemento te lo recomiendo , y ayudanos a mejorar este programa

Comme vous le savez, il y a un gros problème depuis quelques temps entre youtube et cette extension, laquelle bloque la navigation en mettant des fenêtre "voulez-vous ... application/octet-stream".
Ce problèmes semble également lié à l'apparition d'un fichier étrange dans le répertoire Temp : etilqs_ (sqlite - base de données).

La version 4.7.1 (sensé le faire) ne corrige pas le problème chez moi.

Or vous savez que notre grand ami firefox est depuis longtemps l'ami de notre grand ami google, lui même grand ami de youtube depuis peu.
Il est évident que tout ça ne sent pas très bon.

( - Inscription à un compte google quasi-obligatoire pendant l'inscription à youtube (mais malgré tout refusée par beaucoup de monde);
- "vraie-fausse méchante version commerciale chrome" (que personne n'utilise) alors que le vrai spyware voudrait bien plutôt passer par firefox, lequel appartient quasiment à google (il suffit de taper dans la barre d'adresse about:config pour le comprendre).

D'ailleurs on se demande bien pourquoi tant d'insistance de partout à vouloir nous faire passer de 3 à 3.5, alors que c'est une vraie merde (lenteurs d'affichage des gros textes sur fond d'images, des gif animés, problème si plusieurs flash, il suffit de faire la comparaison avec les deux).

Moi je vous recommande la plus grande prudence,
et de voir s'il n'y a pas d'autres extensions.
Celle-ci est d'ailleurs la moins bonne pour daylimotion).

Please fix it, it doesn't work anymore and I use it alllllll the time. I upgraded firefox to 3.6 and it stopped working along with other add on's i love to use.

This is for me the best extension of firefox if you want to download multimedia files! because it doesn't help to download videos, You can download practically all multimedia files. mp3 and another diferent audio extensions, .Flv (youtube) and anothers diferent video extension, and images. This is the one extension that i need all the time. and thats what i cant migrate to chrome, because this is my principal extension :)

before it used to work perfectly.
and now everytime i try to download a song or something i click the .mp3 file but absolutely nothing happenes.

no screen pops up asking me where i want my download to go and my download doesn't appear anywhere else.

if there is a way to fix this please contact me and i'll redo a new review. because this add on is otherwise a 5 star program. just this issue is annoying.

Very easy to use. Does exactly what it says it does.

Great app, but recent days I face to a problem: it ignores the custom download directory that I set at the options, and keeps on saving files to the defult "Documents and Settings\(user)\dwhelper". That's annoying.

I like this product. Yes it is a pain when you don't have a registrated convertor... but other than that This is a very efficient add on. I recomend if you watch.down load video's or songs off net, this product is good. Just remember to type in the file type at end of name when savin file.

DANGER: This addon gives unsolicited messages (otherwise known as malare/spyware). Use at your own risk!!!

Why are you calling Software Informer evil spyware?

As has been stated earlier, since a recent update to 4.7.1, it now insists on saving downloaded files to folder " \ \ \dwhelper ". Have gone back to using 4.8a1

It helps me download what I did not expect to be able to download. It is easy to use and do not give me any trouble. Thanks for the developers. I really appreciate your effort to create it.

Me parece una herramienta muy completa; pero que gratuitamente sólo se puede usar para bajar videos en formato *.flv. Para convertir ya hay que instalar otro agregado el cual es de pago. Hasta ahí todo bien, el problema surge cuando uso un Chat en Java, la pantalla da saltos al pasar de una zona Java a otra que no lo es. Buscando soluciones desactivé todos los complementos y los activé de a uno, resultando responsable videodownload helper v4.7.1 sobre Firefox 3.6 Si desactivo este complemento, puedo chatear en Java correctamente. Es un complemento útil pero con observaciones.

Indispensible. Allows me to watch (and rewatch!) imbedded media later on, at my leisure. One of the reasons I use Firefox. :-)

Un programa buenisimo y rapido. Me encanta tenerlo en firefox, fue el primero que puse, y no me arrepiento, sino todo lo contrario.

Not only is this extension feature-rich but it works flawlessly with Firefox 3.6.2pre using the 64-bit Flash plugin.

This is definitely the best program out there for downloading video and music(!) files from the net. Not only does it have a really huge list of supported sides / file formats, its integration into FF is nearly perfect.

I haven't tested the conversion features yet, so I don't cont those in into my rating...

Just thought of sharing my experience with downloadhelper. itz really cool...and, this is a note when i downloaded the hundredth one using this software. Thank you very much. :D

Why doesn't this program just read from the video cache like Applian's programs do? Then you don't need to 'download' a thing! That video cache is even being logged and watched by the second -- even if their program isn't open! If I were U, I'd go to www.applian.com and DL "Replay Media Catcher" and DISECT it only make it more stable than theirs is. Doesn't get any easier than RMC when it's stable!

200 descargas 0 errores, captura todos los enlaces multimedia y es muy facil de utilizar, y si se quiere personalizar es completisimo.
