You can still download from Youtube, but not efficiently. To get HD videos off Youtube, toggle the HD switch and check the add-on again.

Doesn't work. i wasted 20 minutes of my time trying to tet it to do something. Garbage.

Youtube has made some changes I believe and thus Video DownloadHelper v4.7.4 is no longer able to download videos.

Update pls.

I thought this one was the best.....
But it has shortcomings......
The developers have not included download support for nuts.co.uk

So can anyone download this for me and post the link after uploading on mediafire or megaupload??

This software works great in Umbuntu linux Firefox browser. I would recommend it to anyone. I use it all the time.

I am retrograding back to 4.7.3 because the HQ18 files which save as MP4 do not look as good as they do with 4.7.4 for some reason. There are still some websites I wish this plug in worked with but in general it's pretty good. I would prefer seeing HQ18 etc for my choices since that's how I primarily grab from Youtube when I do.

I am so amazed at what this add-on can do. It has helped me at home and at work.

I love this thing!! I mean really it has made my life soooo much easier and has filled my iPod and computer to the brim with wonders!!

This is a fantastic add-on, very unintrusive and does a great job at what it is supposed to do. I have tried a few others and I keep coming back to this one, I am also going to support this guy with my money and that is something I don't do very often.

Very good add-on... Incredibly useful and easy to use! I have had some trouble with the download & convert feature in the past but overall this is a 4-star quality add-on...

I agree with iliwala, I would like to be able to toggle on and off some automatic naming feature to save time...
