Used to be a great add on a decade ago. It's absolute junk now and has trouble downloading and detecting.

I use this addon very often. I cannot honestly say i know of anything wrong with Video Downloadhelper. it is the best video downloader addon there is.

An excellent addon. However, the fact that it won't allow you to save files to a networked drive is pretty frustrating. Hopefully they can add that functionality at some point.

I have serious suspicion that this addon causes memory leak and CPU overload at youtube live streams. One of the firefox.exe processes took full CPU core and a couple of GBs of RAM. When I turned off VDH addon, the values went back to normal. This issue can be mistakenly credited to firefox itself, so please, if you have similar symptomps, try to turn off all addons.

A bit wonky at times (you have to keep the site open with the video to download), but still one of the best, most easy to use, and most reliable download services out there.

Works great, there is a separate download needed but after that,you can download things from places you normally couldn't, such as Twitter Dms

Promts me to install another program in order to proceed downloading a video. I reported this to mozilla.
