- by mdmitry, 12 hours agoRated 1 out of 5Extremely high CPU usage, makes youtube unwatchable on quad-core E6400. No way to dump .TS files from HLS live streams (haven't found a way to do it, if there is - it's very user-unfriendly)

- by MarcThiti, 15 hours agoRated 4 out of 5Quiet cool add. You can download almost every video in different resolutions from most of the websites you visit, also from facebook. If it´s not possible to download the vid with your browser you can download an extra add that works together with DownloadHelper and then it should work. Mostly the download speed is not that fast but acceptable.
- by Firefox user 15277430, 15 hours agoRated 5 out of 5I have been using various services and applications for quite a long time, I remember a time when there were no computers, and I can say with certainty that this is perhaps the most successfully made application with a minimalist interface (which I regard as a positive property) that allows you to save video from a wide variety of online services to local media, and at the same time, even in a trial version, it reminds me of the possibility of using a more convenient paid version, the cost of which is also quite moderate compared to other applications, including those with great capabilities. It is convenient in that this extension does not burden the work, it is easy to call it from the context menu during viewing, it is predictable both in management and in exits from failures, when the desired material is not subject to permission to save. The ability to save the selected video with a simple choice is all the more valuable because the policy of these services is often such that it is often far from always possible to be sure that after returning to the saved link to the video, it will be possible to see it in the same place and in the same volume, therefore, with a certain observance of well-known norms, the ability to not depend on the whims of information holders is priceless, I saw - I saved.

- by Firefox user 16622968, 2 days agoRated 5 out of 5This is the only add-on I've ever found that can download from literally anywhere, even Chinese and Japanese sites. The only downside for some might be that for some videos and HD quality, it has you download a net.downloadhelper.coapp to your PC. I scanned it with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes and everything was fine.
