Download problems in Windows 8 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Are you sure these videos are shown via HTTP protocol instead of RTMP?
There's no addon here to get videos from RTMP protocol in Firefox. You may use an external application, such as Replay Media Catcher to get such files.
My problem is related to Windows 8.
It was suddenly unable to download videos, since a week ago.
I assume this is a problem related to nsiWebBrowserPersist.saveURI, since other addons are suffering the same issue.
Apart of this, addon was used to work pretty well, and I like the new "compact" mode which add just a toolbar button to work from, saving workarea. :)

Good, but could be improved.
I think this addon should have toolbar buttons instead of toolbars with buttons. This way we could customize buttons position and gain visual space. Would be good to see a single download button with submenu in order to choose video versions found (Youtube case). Clicking directly on icon could show addon options or quick download.
In addition, notifications area should be improved.
In the case of Youtube videos which have different qualities or sizes (240p, 320p, 720p, 1080p, etc), would be better to see only one notification with all versions found (actually it shows individual notifications one behind another, so it's impossible to click versions notified before the last notification appeared).
In addition, I suggest a quality selector for video versions found for Youtube and others along with a wait-time-after-closing option for notifications, all of them on addon options window.
I like this addon, since Video DownloadHelper doesn't work with Firefox 3.7 releases I switched to Ant... after all, it does the work for the most of the sites Video DownloadHelper did.
Thank you for your interest in our video downloader.
We took your suggestions into account. Some of these features might be shipped in one of our next releases.
