i think its very meuq
Added to FireFox v.42.0 and I only get "Validation Request failed. http statuscode = 403" when trying to validate a page.
This would be the perfect validating add-on for me, I really want this to work!
Hey Excavator, thanks for the bug report.
The w3.org webservice used by Validator has changed.
I updated the addon to use the newer service.
The new addon version is 0.0.6.2-signed.
If you cannot download it yet it is still under review by Mozilla.
clear and easy to use, tested on firefox12.0
Nice & simple integration in Firebug
Would be more convincing though if the link http://spaghetticoder.org/validator/ worked ...
Using FF 7 beta... doesn't even install, by the look of it. Developer's home page doesn't exist, nothing regarding usage and/or installation options. Extremely poor.
Poor. Doesn't seem to clear its memory properly and so I get a whole heap of errors saying that IDs have been duplicated. Refreshing the page and validating again gives a "check mark". Also no way to easy view the relevant bit of source.
I love this add-on and how well it integrates with Firebug.
It would be really useful to have CSS validated too, on the same tab, just another green check-box.
Yes, being able to click to view the line in the source would be useful (since FF or FB don't seem to show line numbers in the source).
Also, your homepage above doesn't exist.
Some positive feedback when a page has been validated would be sweet - just like the color coding within the original validator :-)
I'd appreciate being able to click on a line to go to that line in the corresponding HTML file.
Also an auto-update function with a small green/yellow/red light to show if it finds any invalidity and how severe it is.
