Simple but worthy feat Rated 5 out of 5 stars

without this, having unsorted entries in the bookmarks taskbar button or menubar is pretty pointless unless you actually want Library opened up, this is a good solution Thanks.

btw heres a slightly (lol) expanded and modified version of the script above im using, cleans things right up, eg http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/4678/xpfu.png

Alice does it again! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thank you for staying with this one. As far as I know this STILL isn't included as a basic function. For the kinds of things I do managing large numbers of bookmarks is a must and without this function that would be one more obstacle.

Again, this probably is my 1000th time bashing Mozilla and their suicidal rabid-release policy. Mozilla needs to focus on actually creating a better user experience and stop this heavy-handed top down corporate-knows-best attitude. Coke got burned in 1985 when they decided that they would dictate what consumers wanted. This has repeated itself time and time again and Windows 8 is a perfect recent example.

For this reason it is important to have people like White Alice in there who make things like this happen. Good job!

Why in the name of the gods is this not native Firefox behavior?

Question Rated 5 out of 5 stars

How to move to the top of the list? Used to being at the top of the menu, and then reinstall it turned out the bottom.

A "Can't Live Without It" Add-On Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The functionality this add-on provides is so intuitive and obvious that I forgot it was an add-on altogether. Then I upgraded my OS and reinstalled Firefox from scratch...and couldn't figure out why I couldn't see what was in my "Unsorted Bookmarks Folder" from the toolbar button. I only seemed to be able to access them through the library. What? I was so confused! It made no sense. Clearly, I thought, something must be broken.

Then I remembered that this add-on was necessary to make Firefox work logically.

Thank you so much for keeping this one updated and available. Without it, Firefox's bookmark folders don't really make very much sense.

A perfect add-on. A great place to store most of the bookmarks I accumulate without having to think about them until I have to sift & sort.

Works perfectly for Firefox 8.0. An elegant solution that should be incorporated into Firefox to begin with. Great job!

Works fine in 7.0, contrary to the disclaimer. Thanks for making this, it is inexplicable that this is not default. Open a whole new window just to access a bookmark folder? Really?

Great and useful add-on which I also think should be the default behaviour in Firefox. There are just two bugs (coming from firefox, not this add-on, but it would be nice if this add-on could fix them):
- as explained in another comment below, middle button doesn't work (should open all bookmarks in separate tabs)
- right-click / open all in tabs also doesn't work (opens bookmarks under no folder from the bookmark menu instead of the unsorted bookmarks)

"Okay, can be done by CSS; but would be nice to provide such an option within the Add-On's settings." - couldn't agree more. At least can anyone tell how to do it via css?

A must-have for Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

What a pity. The "unsorted bookmarks" folder is not on top of my bookmarks list any more :-(How can I bring it back to the top ???
UPDATE: Okay, can be done by CSS; but would be nice to provide such an option within the Add-On's settings. Thanks a lot.

A must have for the Firefox 4.
Why isn´t it the default behaviour of the "unsorted Bookmarks" folder?

A better way. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

1. Create new bookmark
2. Adress: "place:folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS"
3. Restart Firefox
4. Done!
