Did I miss something? FF 6.0.2 no go! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I got auto updated today to Firefox 6.0.2 - although it says at http://www.unmht.org/unmht/en_index.html that version 5.7.0 has "Compatiblility with Firefox 6.0.x", when I go to FF addons at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/unmht/ it says "not available for Firefox 6.0.2. Is there a way around this?

Thank you very much for update. I think official UnMHT website resumes online again and its latest version is 5.7.0. Could you please update the version in the firefox add-ons website to parallel to your site?

Hi Empatojayos, I believe that the MAF addon only saves whole webpages.and not selected parts. More than half of my numerous mht files were for selected parts, so the MAF addon is not satisfactory for me.

----------Edit:
Hi POCUK, the source "original" (the home website) is dead. In
http://page2rss.com/page?url=www.unmht.org/unmht/en_index.html you find a last mirror of the
"original" website, however, no downloads functionals here.

If you do not trust my uploadings, you always can download stored version (5.6.9) in the Mozilla servers, choosing "Continue to Download", and posteriorly, "Save as". However, its necesary patch it if you wish functionality in FF.

With respect to the problems with MHT in MAF addon, i emphatically suggest to you test .maff file format, is precise, economic (both, ram memory and disc), and compatible (its a zip!).

----------Original Post:
Home website is apparently death (several months).
I modded last version (5.6.14) to FFmaxVersion = 8.9
http://banashare.com/xsvukdzw62ph
Tested OK in FF6 stable, FF7 beta 2, and FF8 (aka. Aurora) alfa 2.
Thanks to passerby for finding the last version.

Guys, consider an alternative project with life as MAFF (also supports MHT).

Firefox is broken without this addon IMO. I had no idea that the author had abandoned the software and ceased further development of this essential add on. I have hundreds and hundreds of MHT files, so I am quite dependent on the add on. I can't find an original version of 5.6.9.12 of this add on, only from download sites. I notice that others have made the add on available in their reviews, but I don't know how safe this is. I would like a trusted source really. I tried the Mozilla archive add on but it does not open the MHT archives after creation, and the MAFF files don't accurately capture the pages. Some problems with CSS alignments and text I noticed. Real shame or I would have switched.

Getting fed-up with Mozilla Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the bests. I use it everyday and now I am starting to get fed-up with Mozilla because every release of Firefox breaks compatibility with my add-ons. They must find a way to workaround this or I will end up moving to Chrome.

This is one of the add-ons that I always add whenever I'm installing FF on other PCs. I hope it gets an update for FF6.

I've used this addon forever. For Firefox 6.0, I right-click SAVE LINK AS Unmht 5.6.9 from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/unmht/eula/114681?src=addondetail. Then with Nightly Tester Tools "Force Addon Compatibility" enabled, I used menu File,Open File and selected unmht-5.6.9.xpi to install unmht. After Firefox restart, I successfully used Unmht 5.6.9 on a webpage to save as mht.

Website? + Ideas Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi,
this addon i searched years! Now found it and works! Great! And this in Options batch converting htm+folder -> mht! Is amazing!
People, can you tell me why the homepage of this product not works? I can't no ping it! It works for you?
Ideas for more comfortable use:
1) other icons on toolbar (i created myself a clone of this addon with more simple and clear icons)
2) use the same saved path as FF dialog box
Many thanks for it! Jan

Simple Great and Usefull extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I think the default title was really, really better with the first words of the slected text when you save a selected text. That way you can select a chapter with a title, the name of page is absolutly useless without the title of the selected part. Maybe you can make a default title page if nothing is selected and a default title page + first selected line or words (limited length) if something is selected. I wish to try it with options but I have no doc and cant reach the official url. Greatings for that "cant work without" extension.

"Save as MHT" menu item in Firefox button Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Because, by default, the menu bar is is not shown in Firefox 4.0 and it is replaced by Firefox button, please add a menu item for saving web pages in MHT format in the menu of Firefox button.

UnMHT 5.6.8 (Dev. version) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Хорошее расширение, но есть 3 замечания:
1. Исправьте баг с прозрачным меню на панели дополнений (Ctrl + /) в Mozilla Firefox 4.0 RC1
2. Большие файлы открывает медленно.
3. Update!
