i really wish that autohide/persistent sidebar could be selectively enabled on a per window basis.
as it is, the sidebar visibility settings for this addon override any autohide settings from other addons (such as in treestyletabs or autohide sidebar), meaning it is impossible to selectively keep the tab sidebar always open on some windows while automatically hiding on others. reversing the override ought to fix this problem but i don't have the coding skills to do it.
tree style tabs autohide does not work with this extension and installing autohide sidebar has no effect.
Doesn't play well with All in One Sidebar. There is a clash in priorities over setting the sidebar width. Pity. This looked a useful add-on otherwise.
This add-on is really a must-have when using vertical tabs. There seems to be a minor incompatibility with the Oxygen theme in FF4 though. I've filed an issue about it: https://github.com/piroor/unifiedsidebar/issues/2
Must have for wide screens.
1. use similar style for bookmark tree in side bar and tabs tree
2. Unify the add-on bar too -- would be great to have a short add-on bar only under the tab bar & side bar
I use Unified Sidebar with Tree Style Tab, ScrapBook, and the Bookmarks sidebar. Works great! I toggle between ScrapBook and the Bookmark sidebars using toolbar buttons for each.
Doesn't even show up!!!!
A wonderful Add-on!
In works very good in combination with VertTabbar and All-in-One Sidebar. Here is a picture showing the result of combining these three extensions: http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=PqAW9E9
Very useful. Thank you for making this.
grandiose! absolutely a must have when you use treestyletab.
very simple, no option, but you can adjust the vertical position of normal sidebar (bookmarks/history/...) and it remembers it !
another excellent thing : it follows the auto-hide behavior of treestyletab, even in tweaky configurations like mine - 100px permanent, expand to 300px on a 2s mouseover.
Just a little detail : would be neat if the 2s mouseover could be detected also when staying on normal sidebar
