I don't get what the problem is with the below users, especially the one with the previous post removed. It works fine with me on normal firefox, normal computer. Never had my url bar been so clean and meaningfull. I don't get what IS the problem with previous users.

Addon clashes

Most of the users facing issues are facing those issues because of one or the other addon affecting the urlbar and thus messing up with the functionality of this addon. It is nowhere possible to support compatibility with all the other addons out there, specially when other addons don't do anything to be compatible.

Seems my review was removed...

Had issues with breadcrumbs becoming unclickable, improperly spaced, etc... Terrible implementation of an almost decent idea...

I loved this extension before it stopped working. Now, it leaves my address bar empty. I'm running Firefox 38.1 with a darkly-colored theme (NASA Night Launch 0.6.20150510).

poor execution Rated 2 out of 5 stars

i have to agree with some of the other reviews that give Location Bar Enhancer a low score, i like the idea and was thrilled initially when i installed it but then i soon realized when you have long address with many subdomains or levels how bad this extension is, taking up the entire locationbar and especially troublesome when you have other location bar addons like a few of the many whois type flag addons installed where there was a messy overlapping of information. had to uninstall it,

This addon is a must have for me, but it makes Google Maps slower.
Open the Firefox Console and you will see a lot of errors when using Google Maps Street View with this addon enabled.

The nicest-looking location-bar with the best features, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is my favorite location-bar enhancement add-on; I tried all the ones listed and this one looks better and has better features, especially, when you right-click a segment. However, I'm really into customized search engines, so the "Foobar" add-on enhancement (my fav awesomebar/search-box combo add-on) had to be replaced with the "Searchbar Autosizer" add-on, so I could keep all functionality/use of my search-box. Unfortunately, this is the only locationbar enhancement that's not compatible with the Searchbar Autosizer, because when the locationbar decreases in size, this add-on layers "on top" of the toolbar buttons and search-box, rather than below them (likely an easy fix by changing it's z-index CSS). If I ever get time, I hope to delve into the code and fix this, myself, but until then, the best add-on with "Searchbar Autosizer" is "Smart Location (smart text)" add-on.

I installed Location Bar Enhancer quite a while ago and it has been perfect. Now, that's just how I expect my location bar to be. It's the perfect addon... It does exactly what I wanted it to and never gets in my way.

Url never seemed so clean! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A feature request: it would be great if the id tags in the current page are listed under the # part of the url.

Wonderful concept, good customisation. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Location Bar Enhancer is a great, intuitive add-on which saves lots of manual URL editing. If it were to become more popular it would make websites much more logical and intuitive for all users as they are forced to keep their URLs tidy.

There are a few customisation features missing which I could like however. It would be nice if there was a hotkey for toggling the use of it on that domain for a session. It would also be nice if custom filters could be written to enable or disable it on various domains. I would also like an option on each page to "disable for this page", "disable for this domain" and "disable everywhere" which can be toggled at any time (this could be tied in with the first suggestion as hotkeys.

Thanks for the feedback.

Those are some nice feature requests. Can you please open issues for them in the github repo ? https://github.com/scrapmac/UIEnhancer/issues

Thanks!

Simply excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

+ Examples for css would be nice
+ The vertical align of text is not good in Linux
+ I found the concept extremely interesting in the explorer of windows so bravo for spreading this UX feature!
