Why was UCLA Automated Login created?
Sitting in Bruin Cafe one morning, I mindlessly signed into the UCLA network as I have to do every time I reconnect to their internet. I then went to look up some info about my courses on my.ucla.edu and, sure enough, signed in again. Well, once I looked up what I needed to, I realized I had an hour to do absolutely nothing, and so with that I decided it was time for a change. I began coding some windows automated login scripts, but when I presented the idea to my Mac-using friends, I decided to integrate the automated login code into browser extensions. First Chrome, then Safari, now Firefox, and likely never Internet explorer.
What's next for UCLA Automated Login
As more log-in pages need automating or more time-saving techniques emerge, I plan to integrate them into future versions of this Add-on.
