I would have given this five stars, but when it was 'upgraded' the text tabs were replaced with icons. Big mistake I think, as I now find it much harder to use.
It's alright but when I type it's scrolls my sidebar, which is another thing that it doesn't resize to the sidebar either. It also didn't seem to update my tweets despite hitting refresh. I find Tweetbar better in these regards which is the FORMER version of this.
I have tried three different Firefox extensions, 3 Adobe Air application and several native Linux applications and I have decided to settle on this extension for my tweets!
Not a bad extension by any means, but lacking some usability features. The box at the top isn't big enough to view more than ~23 characters, far less than 140. The icons are small and for those with many contacts, it can be harder to see who's who. On the other hard, the chance to change colors schemes is a nice touch and the floating login is quite pretty. That, and the inclusion of a large space to scroll really gives me hope for the future of this extension. S'all I've got for now.
great idea.I use it at all-in-one sidebar. :D
I've been using TwitKit for about a week now and I love it! It's stable, clean, and user-friendly.
One think I'd love is a way to put a button/link in my bookmark toolbar so I could click that instead of going up to the tools menu and going from there. (Apologies if this is already possible. I haven't figured it out yet if it is.)
A great idea
It' a great add-on but can you please add a spell check feature to it? (perhaps by integrating Firefox inbuilt spell checker)
